Sleep Tracking Sucks

Genuinely SO annoyed at how inaccurate the sleep tracking is on this app…. Every single morning I have to go in and manually set the time I roughly fell asleep at. Never seems to track when I wake up and walk to the washroom in the middle of the night either.

First Paralegal Job Advice

Hey everyone,

I just got hired at the firm I did my practicum at this past May. As excited as I was to begin, I can’t help but feel like my schooling didn’t prepare me at all past the basics. I feel like the dumbest person in the world because I don’t understand how anything works or the procedural steps when I’m asked to do something. I’ve also been finding myself really struggling with legal definitions and just end up more confused when something is being explained to me.

It’s so much information to retain at once and I’m really struggling the most with the more technical stuff like what I’m suppose to name a file, what folder is that file then stored in, who is supposed to be cc’d in an email I’m sending, what precedent am I supposed to be using, where do I then access that precedent and know I selected the right one, etc.

My trainer is lovely and she’s trying her best with the little time she has away from her own work to help me, but I’m most worried because they assigned me to a litigation lawyer who has been in practice for the past 34 years who I was warned has to essentially be babysat and reminded to do his job constantly. He also likes just about EVERYTHING to be printed. I don’t feel like I’m capable of successfully taking over the previous assistant’s role…. I sit at my desk and stare at the clock everyday waiting for 4:00 pm to hit and have never felt so discouraged and unmotivated in a job before.

How do I gain a little confidence and finally become more comfortable in my new role? I know mistakes are inevitable and a huge part of learning, but I’m finding myself questioning my career choice but also know I’d probably feel like this in any office job.

Please be kind, I’m not giving up. Just looking for some words of encouragement to help me get through this hurdle.

Trading Room Etiquette

Rant

My biggest pet peeve when it comes to the trading room is users who dislike an item as soon as you submit it in the slot before allowing you to submit 3. Like I genuinely just feel rushed and stressed when you’re disliking every single item and then immediately leaving the trade when I’m not scrolling through my inventory fast enough to your liking. It’s genuinely SO rude to me the lack of patience people have. Just let me put 3 before you dislike anything 🙏

I guess this is personal preference at the end of the day, but if you’re going to be so quick to dislike something then I’m only going to submit 1 item at a time.

Jam Recipes

Anyone else hoping they come out with a recipe book for the new jams? Would love to be able to make toast at the very least, especially with the new jumbleberry jars of jam!

Gardens

One of my favourite things to do on Webkinz is collect growing garden seeds. There’s so many I wish I had still!

Gen 3

Has anyone with a Gen 3 actually felt their ring vibrate? I get the odd notification on my phone, but so far the vibrate feature is non-existent

Location Issue

I recently purchased a Gen 3 model. Does anyone know why it won’t display my location for the headache detection feature? I have location services as well as app background refresh enabled in my iphone settings for the Ringconn app specifically

Game Room + Library

This is a room I designed based on an inspo photo I came across. I unfortunately don’t remember the user of the original poster as it was a few years ago now.
