I need more albums about rebellions! Bonus for added religious fervor/madness.

As per the title I've got a 2023 Stumpjumper EVO mulleted that I never quite got along with. It feels like riding and steering a boat and for the mellow singletrack and flowy trails without too much elevation that I ride. It just feels to much. This despite having the chainstay in high and the fork in the steepest mode.

So I'm kinda looking at the *Down country* category (Epic EVO 8 kind of bikes) of bikes thinking it will be a massive difference in feel, weight and poppiness? Or can I just slap some XC tires on the old Stumpjumper and it'll feel kinda the same?

If yes it will be a world of difference can you recommend some bikes/deals available in Europe in the 2-3k € price range?

Was kinda side eyeing the Cube Stereo One22? Seems like a good deal?
