Tried to feed her got snuggles instead 🤣🤣

My 8 month old female ornate uromastyx, have had her for 5 days now and she started out surfing glass quite a lot but now is burrowing and more calm. Any tips for a first time uro keeper??? She hasn’t really been eating much but she’s still alert and healthy.

This is my female African fat tailed gecko, she doesn’t mind handling but she always looks for dark spots to hide in and I rarely ever see her out in her enclosure. Is that normal?
