I need to buy a phone urgently. My current phone is having green line issues, it is not charging properly, and it overheats.

My initial budget was 50k, but after doing some research I could not find a phone in that range that I am satisfied with. The maximum I can stretch is up to 80k, which would use all my savings. My current phone lasted me around 6 years, so I am looking for something long term.

My main requirements are a decent camera (so I do not have to rely on someone with an iPhone to take photos), 256 GB or 512 GB storage, and durability for at least 5 years. I do not need heavy performance. Just smooth usage for video streaming, calling, and regular daily tasks. I am not a heavy gamer and rarely play games.

Major apps I use are YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, Reddit with other daily apps for messaging and calls.

Looking for suggestions that fit these needs.

I need to buy a new phone ASAP and I’m considering the OnePlus Nord 5 5G.

I prefer using a phone long-term (around 4–5 years). My current Redmi phone has already lasted me about 6 years. I’m looking for something reliable that can handle daily use, social media and light gaming without issues over time.

I’m not a big fan of Samsung devices, so I’m mainly comparing other brands. My budget is around NPR 80,000(Sab saving spend garna lako so need genuine suggestion), and the OnePlus Nord 5 5G seems to fit within that range.

Is it worth buying this phone for long-term use?Or is there better option than this?

For OnePlus users: what has your experience been with the brand in terms of durability, performance, and software updates? Would this phone realistically last 4–5 years?
