For the people who took dowry, how did that first night feel? 😂

Saw a wedding in my neighborhood today and watched a truck unload literally the entire household from the bride’s side into the groom’s house.

Bed, furniture, cooler, water dispenser, dinner sets, dishes, and basically every tiny thing you could possibly need to run a house.

So I have a genuine question for the people who actually took dowry:

How did it feel sleeping on that bed on your first night, knowing your wife’s parents bought it for you? Beighairton 😆😆😆😆😆.

Mid-20s and running a small business — what do you do?

For those in their mid-20s who are running their own small business, I’d love to hear about your experience.

What business are you in, how did you get started, and roughly how much did you invest initially? And would you recommend someone else getting into the same business today?

Looking to talk to people about their professional lives

I’m a 27-year-old male, an engineer and teacher by profession. I currently make around 400k/month, and lately I’ve been curious about what other people’s professional lives actually look like beyond just their job titles.

I’d love to talk to people from different professions — what you do, how you got into it, what your day-to-day work is like, what you enjoy or dislike about it, and how you feel about your career overall.

Just to be clear, I’m not looking for this specifically to talk to women or for anything romantic/dating-related. I’m genuinely interested in hearing from people with different career paths and experiences. Anyone is welcome to message/comment.

And there’s absolutely no need to share your name, workplace, location, salary, or any other personal information if you’re not comfortable with it. We can keep it completely anonymous and just talk about the professional side of things.

If you’re up for a random conversation about work and career, feel free to reach out.

What should I do with clothes that are no longer in good condition?

I have some clothes that are quite worn out, so I don’t feel comfortable donating them. I wouldn’t wear them myself because of their condition, and I don’t think it’s right to give them to someone else either.

I also don’t want to simply throw them away because that seems wasteful and bad for the environment.

Are there any businesses, organizations, or places that recycle old or damaged clothes? I’m not looking to make any money from them—I just want to dispose of them responsibly and avoid sending them to a landfill if possible.
