Neverending urge to urinate?
Who else has a literal 24/7 urge to urinate with their stricture?
It’s not a UTI - I’ve had this 24/7 for years on end.

Who else has a literal constant urge to pee with this? Almost like pee is stuck in the urethra or something?
Anybody ever tried fulguration of the urethra (not the bladder)? Was it useful?
33F. 52kg. 7 years of a 24/7 mystery pressure that feels like an urge to urinate.
I’ve felt like I really need to pee 24/7 for 7 years (yes, literally nonstop for 7 years). Urinating does not provide relief. Been harder than I can ever explain.
It was a sudden thing, that seemed to happen with a strange spasm feeling, and left me instantly in this state forever more. I don’t work (had to leave my dream job) and don’t leave home much.
Had the work-up for almost everything thinkable and no treatments for IC or OAB or any type of bladder condition has ever remotely helped. The pressure is there all day, every day.
Cystoscopy done many times and Urodynamics many times (which shows obstruction, as my stream is very weak and I have to strain and it sprays). No cause of obstruction ever found.
Had so many MRI/CT/ultrasound scans over the years and nothing has been found. Had my first ever contrast dye MRI though last week and something has finally shown: low riding caecal pole, abuts the right side of bladder.
I can’t get in with a urogynae till June, so I just wanted to pose this to any doctors that might have an opinion. Could this be the answer? Could the cecum be pressing on my bladder and causing this?
Strangely enough, I feel the pressure is maybe felt more on the left side of my urethra/vagina, but the cecum is on the right. Would that make sense?
I also, sleep on my front, with my right leg bent upwards like a frog, as this is the only position that’s even slightly more comfortable.
I really don’t want to get excited, as I’ve had so much disappointment over these years, but could this finally be an answer? Or is this likely just some random anatomical variant that means nothing? I don’t want to get my hopes up, so please just let me know what your honest opinions are.
Thank you very much in advance and this is such a lovely and helpful community of people. Thank you all for what you do.
