22M | Got a few matches on Hinge and now I’m confused

I’ve been using Hinge for like a week now and got a few matches, which I honestly wasn’t expecting.

Now I’m realising I have no idea how people actually manage this. I’m trying to talk to everyone properly and get to know them, but between work and having multiple conversations going at once, it gets a bit overwhelming.
I don’t want to just collect matches and disappear on people either. I’m actually looking to date someone and see if there’s a genuine connection.

I’m an Asian-looking guy if that matters, and pretty new to dating apps, so would love some advice from people who have been using Hinge for a while.

Do you guys talk to everyone for a while and see who you click with? Or focus on a couple people at a time? And how long do you usually talk before asking them to meet?

Also, if there are any single girls here who are actually looking to date and happen to be chalant enough to hold a conversation, I’m not opposed to meeting someone through Reddit either lol.

Met a girl from Hinge at 3 AM, she came to my place, slept for 2 hours and then ghosted me what the hell just happened?

So I matched with this girl on Hinge and we talked for 1–2 days. She seemed pretty decent over text, and eventually she asked for my Instagram.
I’m not on Instagram, so I gave her my WhatsApp instead, and we continued talking there.
At some point, I asked if she wanted to come to a party I was going to. She said she was already at her uncle’s place and basically told me that if I wanted, I could come there.
I said no because I had already made plans and booked a place.
Later on, she told me she was coming to Koramangala because she had to give some books to her friends. And mind you, **this was around 3 AM.**
I said okay, I could come meet her there.
We decided on a place to meet, mainly because I was honestly a little scared of randomly going somewhere at 3 AM. I was half expecting to either get kidnapped or somehow end up paying ₹20k for drinks. 😭
Then she said she could come to **my place** instead and that we could just chill.
I said yes.
**I probably should not have.**
She came over, and we talked for maybe 10 minutes.
I was mostly the one asking questions and trying to keep the conversation going. I asked her if she wanted to eat something, but she kept saying how tired she was.
Then she went into my bedroom…
**and literally fell asleep.**
Like, just straight up went to sleep. 😭
I was sitting there thinking, *what the fuck is happening?*
I ended up sleeping in the hall the entire night while she slept in my bedroom.
Around 5 AM, she woke up and immediately started checking her phone. She then called her sister and asked her for the location of her home.
That part confused me because… wouldn’t you already know where your own house is? Maybe I’m completely misunderstanding what she meant by that.
She left shortly after.
We barely talked for another 10 minutes before she left.
And then she unmatched me on Hinge and completely ghosted me on WhatsApp.
Now I’m sitting here wondering **what the hell just happened.**
Was she genuinely just exhausted?
Did she get uncomfortable after coming over?
Did I completely misread the situation?
Or was there some massive red flag that I somehow missed?
Also, lowkey, part of me is now paranoid that she was setting something up and I’m going to wake up one day to some random accusation or some shit. 💀
I know I probably shouldn’t have invited someone I’d only known for 1–2 days to my place at 3 AM in the first place, so **yes, I’ve already learned that lesson.**
But I’m genuinely curious:
**What do you guys think happened here?**

Had a very strange experience meeting someone from Hinge at 3 AM what do you guys think happened?

I matched with this girl on Hinge and we talked for 1–2 days. She seemed pretty decent over text and everything seemed normal.
She eventually asked for my Instagram, but I’m not on Instagram, so I told her she could have my WhatsApp instead. We continued talking there.
At one point, I asked her if she wanted to come to a party I was going to. She said she was already at her uncle’s place and told me that if I wanted, I could come there.
I said no because I had already made a booking somewhere.
Later on, she told me she was coming to Koramangala because she had to give some books to her friends. And this was around 3 AM.
I said okay, I could come and meet her there. We decided on a place to meet, mainly because I was a little cautious about going somewhere random at that time. I was thinking I might end up in some uncomfortable situation or somehow get stuck with a huge bill.
Then she said she could come to my place instead and that we could just chill.
I agreed. Looking back, I probably shouldn’t have.
She came to my place and we talked for maybe 10 minutes. I was mostly the one asking questions and trying to keep the conversation going.
I asked her if she wanted to eat something, but she kept saying that she was very tired.
Then she went into my bedroom and fell asleep.
Just like that.
I was sitting there wondering what was going on.
I ended up sleeping in the hall for the entire night while she slept in my bedroom.
Around 5 AM, she woke up and started checking her phone. She then called her sister and, from what I understood, asked her sister to send/share the location of her home.
This is the part I found particularly strange.
Why would she need to ask her sister for the location of her own home?
Maybe there is a completely normal explanation for this and I’m misunderstanding what happened, but it seemed unusual to me.
She then left.
We didn’t really talk for more than another 10 minutes before she left, and after that she unmatched me on Hinge and stopped responding on WhatsApp.
Now I’m just confused about the entire situation.
Was she genuinely just extremely tired?
Did she become uncomfortable after coming to my place?
Was there something else going on that I wasn’t aware of?
And most importantly, why did she need to call her sister and ask for her home’s location before leaving?
I’m not trying to identify her or find her. I’m just trying to understand whether I’m completely overthinking this or whether this was genuinely a strange situation.
Also, yes, I realize that inviting someone I’d only known for 1–2 days to my place at 3 AM was probably not the smartest decision. I definitely won’t be doing that again.
What do you guys think happened here?
