Even though it has been mentioned that the Thorn Bulb would only last a few minutes before it disintegrate in to nothingness the past example with Shinki's and Moegi's Thorn Bulbs proved otherwise. Realistically, there's no way Araya could carry the Thorn Bulb alongside Yodo in the in the middle of the desert and reach Sunagakure in just a few minutes (unless, of course it somehow happened through reverse summoning behind the scene), and the same thing also apply to Moegi's Thorn Bulb having to endured longer than a few minutes due to the party's scuffle with Jura.

This only means one thing; Shinki's and Moegi's souls are stronger (unlike Bug's) therefore their Thorn Bulbs can last much longer even long after their Shinju have been defeated, it's just a theory of mine, though. What do you think?

**NOTE : This isn't a post to debate about whether or not the current protagonists will be carried forward to Gen 10 Anime. Since there hasn't been an official confirmation regarding this issue I think it's completely fair to entertain the scenario where they are indeed being carried forward to the next Anime and this is the post for that.**

Without that out of the way, let me explain more about why I think these pairings are more likely to happen :

- Liko and Gecqua

Gecqua's design being blue and feminine fit Liko's own design. Having a Water Type will also complete the traditional Grass, Water, and Fire lineup in her team. Gen 10 region also featured a lot of water so there'll plenty of opportunity for Liko to thrive with Gecqua.

- Roy and Browt

The masculine design and potential personality (yes, it's me being bias again) fit Roy's design. Having another bird also fit Roy's bird theme since he already has a fire bird and an electric bird in his team. Not to mention, battle-wise, having another Grass Type would benefit him a lot too since his team is weak to Ground Type (Kilowattrel is immune but would still be a bad matchup against Ground Type).

- Dot and Pombon

A cute Pokemon that could certainly fit Dot's design and potentially help her with her streaming too. Dot also have two Steel Type that could benefit from a Fire Pokemon, yet another insurance apart from Quaquaval.

- Ult and Navy could get whatever writers decided for them (that is, if they're also planned to be carried forward. I mean, an ex-member of RVT like Sohdayo exist so...) seeing that there are plenty of interesting new Pokemon in Gen 10 anyway.

Liko, Roy, and Dot currently have 3 Pokemon each so it'd be nice to see them get 3 more in Gen 10.
