I fear I may be overreacting to a preseason game (Jakobi Lane)

I know it’s preseason. I KNOW.
I understand that preseason stats don’t mean shit. I understand some of these dudes are going to be selling insurance by October. I understand we’re playing guys who may not even make the roster.
BUT JAKOBI LANE MIGHT BE THE LISAN AL-GAIB.
I’ve seen enough.
The way he’s moving out there? The hands? The body control? The aura? You cannot tell me this is a normal football player. There is clearly something happening here.
Everyone else is watching a preseason game.
I am witnessing the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy.
Somewhere, a Bene Gesserit is whispering, “He is the one.”
The Ravens didn’t draft a receiver.
They found the Kwisatz Haderach.
And before you call me insane, just remember: every great fantasy breakout starts with one idiot on Reddit saying “GUYS, I THINK THIS DUDE IS HIM” after 38 yards and a touchdown.
Well.
I AM THAT IDIOT.
Jakobi Lane WR1.
Jakobi Lane league winner.
Jakobi Lane 1,500 yards.
Jakobi Lane 12 TDs.
Jakobi Lane Super Bowl MVP.
Jakobi Lane President.
I will not be taking questions at this time.
The spice must flow.

Well… that wasn’t on my Philippines bingo card.

Drunk hookup with a ladyboy… now the post nut clarity is hitting hard. I’m a Canadian expat living in the Philippines, and I had one of those nights that started with “just a couple beers” and ended with me making one of the dumbest decisions of my life.
Met someone at a bar, we were flirting, I was pretty drunk, and I knew they were a ladyboy. At the time I honestly didn’t care I figured it was just a crazy vacation type story. Fast forward to the next morning… the post-nut clarity hit like a freight train.
Now I’m just sitting here replaying every decision that led to that moment wondering what the hell I was thinking. I don’t regret how they treated me they were actually really nice. I regret that I made a decision I probably never would’ve made sober. Has anyone else had alcohol completely override their judgment like this? Mostly posting because I’m curious if other expats have had those “what the hell did I do last night?” moments while living here.
No judgment please. I already know I messed up.

PSA for New Expats Using Online Dating in the Philippines

This should be common sense, but judging by how many stories I keep hearing, it’s worth repeating.
Before meeting anyone from a dating app like tinder or okcupid try to verify they’re a real person through another platform like Facebook or Instagram do a quick video call before meeting up (this is essential) . It takes five minutes and can save you from wasting your time or worse. I’ve heard way too many stories of people getting catfished or showing up to a date only to realize the person wasn’t who they expected (trans). Not everyone is trying to deceive people, but verifying someone’s identity beforehand is just basic online dating safety, especially if you’re new to the Philippines and don’t know the local dating scene yet.
Stay safe and use common sense.
