Don't count yourself out on day one. Give it a minute

I see so many posts here like "Am I cooked? Got 490 on my diagnostic, should I give up?".

Stop. Calm down. Lock in.

A diagnostic test isn't really doing much for you. At best it gives you early exposure to the test format and stamina required. Other than that, I firmly believe it is useless. "If I took the exam today with no studying I'd do bad". No shit.

Study first. Grind anki, grind the content banks, grind UWorld. Take your first practice test when you're done. Use those as your baseline. Take one every 1-2 weeks until your exam. Review them carefully, make new anki cards for what you missed. Take another, repeat.

Fight that urge to take a diagnostic. Not only is it just going to put you down, but you could be burning a practice test that could be better used to help you down the line.

Don't try to make an omlete before you know how to crack an egg. Skip your diagnostic and get studying.

My first gifted collab turned into a paid collab

I am relatively new to this UGC field. I started about two months ago and I have around 5k followers on my Insta right now.

I used to pitch myself for collabs to dozens of brands, while barely one or two of them would reply. And since I was a new creator, most of them were hesitant to pay me.

There was this haircare brand that wanted to do a gifted collab with me. They would send me their products in return for 3 videos they wanted from me. I wanted more content for my UGC portfolio, so I agreed to it.

They sent me their shampoo and I made the videos according to their brief and sent them in on time. Then two weeks later, they reached out to me again saying they wanted me to make another set of videos for them.

But this time it was a paid collab. They offered me $60 per video for their hair mask. It was my first paid collab, so I happily did it and made sure I followed their brief properly and delivered everything on time.

And they seem to like what I brought to the table.

Yesterday I got another message from them. They want me to make more videos for their products, and they're ready to pay me even more this time.

I honestly didn't expect a gifted collab to turn into repeat paid work this quickly. Pretty happy with how things are going and excited to do more UGC work with brands like this.

tired of seening posts like “i scored 515 is it good enough”

I got a 507 which is on par with my FLs but man it really does get annoying when i see so many 513+ people acting like their scores are horrible and asking if they should retake. Like we get it, you're neurotic or you just wanna humble brag. And then there's the posts with people who study fro 2 weeks or a month only and get a 520+ somehow. i'm barely on this reddit but goddamn bro some of you really do irk me like you have a good score to get into a decent enough MD school while theres people like me who's wondering if they can even apply to their alma matter or feel like they wasted so much and money just to get a low cars and below average mcat score. It wouldn't matter as much but going out of state is costly and with the student loan cuts. Do schools in general are also more expensive. it just feels impossible and makes me feel more beaten down.

Made 1700$ from faceless UGC this month

This is my first UGC earning after months of pitching brands, For months, I was sending pitches, following up, applying to campaigns and getting very little back.

Since I didn’t want to be on camera, I focused on faceless content , product shots, hands-only videos, voiceovers and B-roll, The biggest change I made was in my pitches.

Instead of simply saying “I’m a UGC creator,” I started sending brands specific content ideas for their product and showing them exactly how I could create the video, That made my pitches much more relevant and gave brands something concrete to respond to

How much i made from ugc in 2 years

When I started UGC, I had no idea it could be this huge The beginning was far from easy. I was learning how to create better content, pitch brands, negotiate deals and understand what actually works.

There were plenty of unanswered pitches and months where the numbers barely moved. But I kept showing up. 2 years later, I’m currently earning six figures from UGC. And that still feels crazy to say.

If you’re just starting out and your income looks nothing like this right now, don’t let that discourage you. Everyone starts somewhere. Keep creating, Keep pitching and Keep improving.

Your first few months don’t tell you what the next two years can look like. All the best :)

Realistic after school study session while avoiding burnouts.

It's hard to balance spending almost 12 hours of class and studying after class usually leads to straight burnout. So I build a system on how I can study after school without getting burnout from studying.

• Revise today's material: Quickly review what was taught in class while it's still fresh in your mind. Avoid tackling heavy and unlearn context so you can avoid being brain drained when studying.

• Use active recall: Close your notes and test yourself on key concepts instead of passively re-reading.

• Organize notes for tomorrow: Prep your workspace, slides, and notebook so you can hit the ground running the next day.

Another important tip is don't force yourself to focus when you're tired, it can only lead to poor retention that can affect your study performance. How do you guys actually study after long hours in university? Let me know what works on you guys so I can list it!

If you are afraid of failure please don’t try ugc

here you’ll hear “no” a lot like No reply to your pitch, No response to your follow-up. No to your rates, No to your content, And sometimes, you’ll wonder if you’re even good enough.

Here you have to upgrade your skills daily like getting Better at editing, Better at pitchingand getting Better at selling yourself.

UGC rewards the creators who keep showing up after the rejection.

So if you need guaranteed success please don’t step into the market ( you will regret trust me), UGC isn’t for you.

But if you can handle the failure and pressure that comes with ugc then here you can make hell amount of money as well but for that you have to be patient

TLVN x Tomica Town

I have just opened the 2nd Generation Tomica Town Koban for comparison with the latest generation, hence why it it has no stickers yet, its cardboard still securing the door, and I forgot to bring batteries for the lights/sounds. It is also clear that the scale of the police officer is bigger and more detail with the older gen than the latest.

The most important, the Skyline team welcomes the newcomer of the force, one of the latest release of TLVN. Also already did the usual preventive maintenance of Tamiya Modelling Wax with a bit of Meguiar's mixture, tea bag and 0.5g dessicant within the box storage.

Vehicles in the photos:

*LV-N126a 4-door Skyline 25GT-X (R34)

*LV-N212a 4-door Skyline (R32)

*LV-N DioColle Carsnap 16a Skyline Autech 40th Anniversary (R33)

*LV-N322a 2-door Skyline (R33)

*LV-N366a 2-door Skyline Sports Coupe (R34) [Latest]

I only need the Skyline R35 (LV-N184a) and I should complete the police Skylines (for now)
