I just made the first sale of my FocusRead Reader Mode Pro extension with just over 40 installs. I'm so happy I can't believe it.

From ideation to making the extension to the first sale, this has been a transformative journey for me. If you're interested, please feel free to try out the extension: FocusRead Reader Mode from CWS. Thanks to all the Reddit community for the support.

I made a feature on the FocusRead Reader Mode that allows users to use the reader even on websites that block reader mode with ad friendly code and scripts specifically set to block ad blockers and reader modes

The FocusRead Reader Mode can now be used to view a majority of the public websites to read content peacefully.

Focusing on FocusBold the FocusRead Reader Mode feature that lets you read quickly. Share how much faster you can read with FocusBold

The key with FocusBold is not just about reading faster it is also about reading with more focus and being able to stay on track with your reading. You can try out the FocusRead Reader Mode on the Chrome Web Store.

This is the best thing about the FocusRead Reader Mode. It works on websites even those where reader modes often don't work

This is made possible by a very nifty trick in the code of FocusRead Reader Mode that allows you to load the full text beyond what's being shown online. The code loads the full body text of the html file and as a result it can show you the text even when DOM elements and JavaScript is blocking the reader from seeing code specifically. What do you think about this feature?

This is one of the features that I'm most proud of on my FocusRead Reader Mode extension. The ability to read hands-free and focus on every line separately helps me actually go through reading research papers with my ADHD.

You can try out the FocusRead Reader Mode here. The FocusLine and Auto Scroll are premium features. Let me know if there is anything specific you want to see in FocusRead moving forward?

The condition of Indian news websites is dismal, so here's something to make it better and so that I'm actually able to read the news!

The FocusRead Reader Mode is my first Chrome extension, if you're interested in trying it, I'm looking for feedback and testing, comment below.

I always liked Wikipedia's minimal design, I used it as a reference when designing the UI of FocusRead Reader Mode. Here's a side-by-side comparison, how does my extension fare against Wikipedia in terms of UI and UX?

Does this side-by-side comparison make you want to try the FocusRead Reader Mode?

Wikipedia was one of my design inspirations behind FocusRead Reader Mode for design simplicity and features. How does my UI and UX fare against Wikipedia? Looking for feedback.

Here's a complete side by side feature comparison of FocusRead Reader Mode and Wikipedia.

I have over 20 installs but it is showing as only 6 on the product page, why is this? Does it happen to others too?

Also, why is the CWS backend so slow to update? I haven't connected Google Analytics yet, is it better to connect Google Analytics? This is my first extension launch, so I don't know these things.

I built the FocusRead Reader Mode extension. It helps you remove ads, banners, cookie signs, and sidebars from content and let's you read with focus. There are also personalization options like themes and font choices to make your reading experience better.

You can find the FocusRead Reader Mode on the Chrome Web Store. I am currently looking for feedback on what other features, apart from the ones I shared above, I should add to this extension? I want to make it the best reader mode extension for Chrome.

As someone with ADHD who works with content daily, I was sick and tired of ads and popups on websites distracting me. To help my attention span and productivity I built the FocusRead Reader Mode

I'm looking for feedback on what other features do you think I should add to this extension?

I built a simple Reading Mode extension for Chrome to stop distractions and it has really helped my productivity.

The number of ads I see on the internet is really annoying, and the problem is that they succeed in distracting me from my work.

So, I made FocusRead Reader Mode to help myself and others like me read content better online. It is a one-stop reading mode extension that works on most websites and provides all the personalisation options you need.

If there are features that you want to see on FocusRead Reader Mode next, please let me know, I intend to build them out and keep updating this extension to be as efficient as possible.

I hope you give it a try and let me know what you think!
