Hey all. I am trying to change my own oil on a t2380. I’ve only done a handful in my life and not on a lawn mower. I got to imagine the concept is the same. Before I unbolt something I regret is the picture the drain plug? That’s what it looks like from the manual but I see it’s threaded on the engine side too. Or the pipe that I think the plug is screwed into. Is this right or am I about to make a mistake?

We got a free Weber II a while back. I’m having a hell of a time trying to get grill marks on my food.
I preheat it for about 10 minutes. Admittedly I don’t have a stopwatch going but I don’t rush out to load it up. It’s usually around 500 when I get out. Throw the food on, close the lid and I don’t touch it for a while. I was doing thighs earlier and it was registering as 140ish before I flipped. No real char/grill marks.
So I ask you what am I doing wrong here. Is it me or the equipment? Should I be inspecting parts? Or are there parts I can upgrade that may make a difference? Is it just a skill issue?
