I don’t know much about paint but I find it hard to believe that this would be a 300 year old painting that I bought at a car boot sale. But do people often paint in the style of a certain artist like almost a fake and then sign the artists name? Bought in Polmadie, Glasgow, Scotland.

Dakar, Senegal. Can’t read signature

Long shot but maybe someone recognizes the signature/can make out what the name is. Bought it on the side of the road in Dakar Senegal. It’s painted on the inside of a burlap rice bag and it is possibly an older painting.

No chance for American college?

I graduated from an American high school with a 2.9gpa and an 1130 SAT. I was a mechanic in high school and I have been a mechanic since highschool however I live in the UK. My dream has always been to enter a humanitarian field or possibly engineering. I thought going back to school in America would be a nice return but it seems too late for me and my American qualifications don’t seem to be very good. Is going to college back home a long shot? Any advice helps
