I feel like roleplaying characters with medical knowledge who treat their patients without the use of magic is perhaps a type of RP that strays a little from the usual WoW fantasy. Even so, it’s something I’m really interested in trying.

The problem is that it feels a bit overwhelming. I feel like it requires a huge amount of knowledge that I simply don’t have, and I also get the impression that it’s the kind of RP where you need to be very confident in what you’re doing.

So, basically, I’d love to hear how you guys approach it. Any advice, tips, recommendations, resources, or anything else you think might be useful would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, anything you have to share is welcome!

A debate about consent in roleplay has come up in my roleplaying circle. During this debate, I noticed a bias regarding more adult roleplay: some people seemed to consider more adult and mature roleplay to be almost synonymous with a world involving rape, depravity, slavery, etc. All that kind of stuff (grimdark).

Maybe I'm the one who's wrong, but I don't think grimdark is synonymous with narrative maturity or with something being more “adult.” It's simply another type of roleplaying setting, like any other, since not everyone is looking for the same things in roleplay.

So that's basically it. I'm just posting this here to see what you all think.

Obviously this won't have any impact on the game, but I find the idea pretty funny.

Does this mean Warcraft is now part of the D&D multiverse?

If so, does that technically mean I could roleplay a character from the Forgotten Realms who somehow ended up in Stormwind? Since that's now technically canon.

Or am I stretching the lore a bit too far?

Me quiero preparar un C1 de administrativo para la local y no sé muy bien qué academia elegir, no me fío demasiado de los anuncios que hay por internet. Por eso pregunto por academias o sobre cómo os guiais para saber si es buena academia o si directamente no es una estafa. Mi idea sería ir presencial.
