GDC PREDICTION: Reverse Exchange SSJ3 Goku + SSJ2 Vegeta, alongside LR Kid Buu. (LR INT SSJ4 Goku can EZA because he's on PBSS. SEZA can be INT Kid Buu).

It's like TEQ Beast's passive was made by two different people with two different design philosophies

TEQ Beast is susceptible to that 1st hit in slot 1, despite wanting to maximise his counters by going in slot 1.

His kit is at odds with itself.

If counters were going to be his main gimmick, he either needs to be better in slot 1, or do crazy damage per counter to make up for getting targeted less in slot two.

Now if counters AREN'T his main gimmick, then what is? (Seriously, look at his kit and cover up the lines about counters; it's just stats, guard and damage reduction).

Since our standalone STR Beast Gohan is scheduled to EZA in the 12th anni (around 26th February 2027), I think the hint is either a standalone Orange Piccolo, or a Beast+Piccolo reverse exchange unit.

We probably won't get another reverse exchange unit that fuses into another card for a long time. (The devs blew their load too early)

Recall the 10th anni gave us reverse exchanging units that fuse into Super Vegito and Super Gogeta. Cool.

Naturally, a user starts to ponder what other units we could get that also fuse into a new card. It doesn't take long to come up with the potential list:

  • R.E. Goku Blue & Vegeta Blue -> Vegito Blue

  • R.E. Goku Blue & Vegeta Blue -> Gogeta Blue

  • R.E Goku Black & Zamasu -> Fused Zamasu

  • R.E. SSJ Kale & SSJ Caulifla -> Kefla

  • R.E. SSJ4 Goku & Vegeta -> SSJ4 Gogeta

  • R.E. SSJ Goten & SSJ Trunks -> Gotenks

Are you seeing the problem yet? Within the last year we pretty much got all of the potential base unit pairs and none of them fused into new units.

What I'm saying is that given that those units were released so recently, the devs aren't likely to remake them so soon.

Unless they get creative, (e.g. a R.E. SSG Goku & Vegeta that becomes Gogeta Blue), I don't think we'll see very many R.E units that fuse....

(I hope I'm wrong though)
