Temple of Neptune/ Hera II

If you are visiting anywhere around the Cilento Coast. I highly recommend doing a tour if the Temples of Paestum. These are some of the best preserved Greek Temples preserved in Italy dating back to 550 BC

Thief captured

I hope this is the only one but almost every fig that has even started to darken is gone when I check on them in the morning. This morning they were all there. It has been relocated. I come out in the morning and the bags are chewed through or pulled off and half of figs at most are in there.

Who is my culprit here?

I have been growing inground and potted figs for 5 years now. For the first time ever this has happened a couple times. Something is eating through my fruit bags and stealing my figs. Thing is, they are not doing much damage to them after stealing them. Did some research online. My thought was squirrels or chipmunk but I assumed they would eat them. According to ChatGPT could be a caterpillar, earwig or slug. We have had an unprecedented amount of rain in middle TN this year and not sure if this really could be an insect but curious to anyone’s knowledge and experience in this situation. As you see in the pics, it has eaten through bottom of the bag and barely eaten the fig.

Tour of Italy

New to the group. Did a dinner night for friend around New Years . Featured carbonara, arancini, Tuscan kale salad and pair with Franciacorta. It was a hit. It was a lot of work, but I have made all of them many times and I love doing it. I forgot to get a pick of the salad.

Caribbean Travel

Looking for some advice in travel to the Caribbean. My wife and myself typically visit Mexico every fall and usually Playa del Carmen. We would like to visit somewhere else but it can be overwhelming with options. . We are looking for true adults only all inclusive. Just did 12 days in Italy with 2 teenage boys. We need a relaxing trip this fall. What we need is somewhere Southwest Airlines flies. Somewhere that sargassum is low risk in late Oct or early Nov. Nice beaches and only looking for 4 to 5 days. Not really interested in venturing off the resort. We typically like to and one of the reasons we like Mexico but this trip needs to be chill and not any effort put into decisions. If that makes sense.
