We’re making an animated psychological thriller set at a fictional HBCU in New Orleans — KOLORS
Hey, we’re Spark Of An Idea (SOAI, pronounced “Sway”), an independent animation studio based in Texas. We recently completed our first short, Is Typing…, and immediately started developing our next project.
KOLORS is an animated psychological thriller following Aneon, a college baseball player struggling to move forward after a life-altering experience.
The film unfolds against the backdrop of Penney University, a fictional HBCU in New Orleans, Louisiana. Baseball, friendship, competition, and memory all collide as Aneon tries to reconcile his present with what happened to him.
We’re currently developing the film and wanted to introduce the project here for the first time. Here’s a look at some of what we’ve been building.
