A neat photo of the CN Tower under construction (1973)

Hi, Toronto Public Library here. 👋

While looking through our archives to find things to mark the CN Tower’s 50th anniversary tomorrow (June 26), we came across this photo that stood out for its otherworldly feel.

Maybe it's just a 1970s thing, but quite a few of our CN Tower construction photos look like they could be sci-fi storyboard art.

(Photo by Jeff Goode, from our archive of Toronto Star photos from the 20th century.)
