Trying to finish out by AR9 with u/Blowback9 GRS setup. I have the Kynshot RB5015HD buffer, 2 Kynshot spacers, and ordered the 8.5" JRC buffer tube yesterday.

I have a question about the spring. Blowback9 recommends 4 on his website as being "the best" ( although Spinta doesn't seem to exist anymore ) . I'm looking at the Tubb Lightweight 300BO and/ or Tubb Carbine (ARBUF) . Was curious if one or the other is any "better" because they are 2 different sizes. 7.00in x 4.00in x 2.00in and 10.00in x 6.00in x 1.50in respectively.

Kinda slow on the Mavs front lately so I was just wondering out loud.

Who's a guy you would personally like to see on the Mavs? Not saying "Go trade for so and so.." , and not saying Wemby, or Luka, or Cade, or some big name. Just someone you personally like for whatever reason etc.. For example I'll start.

J.J. Barea is one of my all time Mavs. Loved how he played the game. So I'd love to see Cam Spencer in Dallas. Plays a LOT like J.J. did . He's almost a spittin image. Better shooter but a small, annoying, feisty player ala J.J. . I like those type of players.

Who's someone you'd like?

Edit - Again, I'm NOT saying someone we should try to trade for or go get. Someone you're just a fan of. Like their game, the way they play, enjoy watching.

They look like a perfect match but it hasn't worked out so AR9 and AR15 are splitting up.

AR9 and AR15 shared a complete lower. Lawyer awarded AR9 the complete lower. AR9 told AR15 you can keep the buffer, buffer spring, and trigger. I can do better.

Ok, I was trying to have a little goofy fun, but that was getting lame. So here's the deal. I have an AR9 upper ( BCG etc.. ) and .223 Wylde upper. They share the same lower but not only am I having issues, having to switch the buffer and spring every time is just annoying. So they are separating for good!

The AR9 is having problems and is suffering from the "Dead Trigger/Burst Fire" issue that Blowback9 talks about in this video.

So now that it's single, I not only want to fix the issue/s, but make some improvements.

The AR9:

Ballistic Advantage 9mm 8.3 barrel - The good one with right feed ramps.

BCG - KAK Enhanced 9mm

Buffer is the KAK Gold-Top Carbine Extended Buffer, 8.4 oz

Spring is just KAK's Carbine buffer spring.

Upper is Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Stripped AR-15 Upper No Forward Assist

Lower is just regular Aero Precision M4E1

Trigger is... LaRue?

And using EndoMags

What I want to do/upgrade:

Get a Flat wire spring. Wilson Combat?

"Gentle Recoil system". So maybe a Kynshot buffer? And 2 spacers? (would need different tube)

And a new trigger. Perhaps a Rise Armament RAVE 140?

I think that's it. Everything else should be perfectly fine. Been away from the AR9 scene for a while so open to any other options or opinions you may have. Newer/better parts etc..

Slimmed down. Moving great. Showing a little bit of handles. Knocking down shots. Looks to be in great shape. I don't understand why you trade this man with Lively's injury history.

*I know this isn't NBA star caliber competition but for all intent and purposes, he looks great!

Just moments ago on DLLS Mavs podcast. Per Marc Stein. Very unlikely Seva plays State side this year (or any time soon ). The NBA does NOT allow you to buyout Seva's Russian contract and put him on a two-way. He mentioned it MAY be possible to get him here other ways but he doesn't know how at this point. Seva's contract with Russia's team ends in 2029. So it COULD be a while before we see him in Dallas.

We've all been hearing about a Gafford trade for what seems like 6 months now. Was trying to come up with possible trade ideas and ended up just circling back to the one that was rumored months ago. Gafford for Mathurin. Mathurin's with the Clippers now. He's a RFA/Cap Hold. The Clippers only center is 38 year old Brook Lopez. Mathurin would be a really good sign and trade target imo. I know we have trade exceptions but admittedly confused how they work.

How would this trade work out? Or would it even be possible?

Ever since Kidd was fired and the HC search began, Sweeney was the top choice for me ( and most people ) . After he was gone, Nori was my top choice. I love Dusty May ( was my pick had they gone the college route ) but I always thought it was better to stay in the NBA. Someone with NBA experience but never a HC. Nori, Ivey, Quinn, and others.

After the signing of May today. Watching every reaction/opinion video. What everyone is saying about May. I don't think I could have been more excited with one of those NBA assistants than I am about May right now. New, fresh, and exciting time to be a Mavs fan! Can't wait until tomorrow!!
