A little while ago I posted here asking for people to help test PakBill during closed testing.

A lot of you actually installed it, tested it and gave useful feedback.

That helped me fix issues, improve the UI and get the app ready for release.

PakBill is now officially live on Google Play. 🇵🇰

For anyone seeing it for the first time, PakBill helps you understand your electricity bill instead of just showing the final amount.

It breaks the bill into things like:

• Energy charges

• Taxes and duties

• Fuel price adjustments

• Fixed charges

• Other adjustments

It also has bill history, due date tracking and support for multiple connections.

The biggest thing I wanted to solve was simple:

Most of us pay our electricity bill every month without really knowing what makes up that amount.

PakBill tries to make that transparent.

If you try the public version now, I’d still love to hear what should be improved next.

Problem:

Most students don't get stuck on the actual FYP work, they get stuck picking an idea. And once the project is finally built and defended, it usually sits in a folder and disappears after graduation. All that effort, gone.

Solution:

So I built MyUni, a platform with 700+ FYP ideas across departments, plus a generator that creates unique ideas based on your interests. It also gives you a place to actually showcase your finished project instead of losing it the day after defense.

Main differences:

1- 700+ ready FYP ideas, and unlimited unique ones generated based on your interests

2- A public showcase so your project stays visible after graduation instead of sitting on your laptop

3- Notes sharing across departments and semesters

4- Discussion boards for the questions students actually get stuck on

Stage:

Live with 300+ users, growing 2 to 5 signups a day, almost entirely word of mouth so far.

The harder part wasn't building the idea generator, it was getting students to actually post their finished project instead of moving on the moment the defense is over.

I'd like feedback from other Pakistani founders and students. Would a public showcase attached to your FYP actually push you to build something better, or does nobody really care once the defense is done?

A week ago, I shared PakBill and received far more feedback than I expected.

Instead of just collecting that feedback, I started building it.

2- Complete Urdu experience with a better Urdu font
3- Support for K-Electric, SNGPL and SSGC
4- Bill due-date notifications
5- Download bills directly from the app
6- Improved bill details and dark mode

PakBill now supports 14 electricity and gas providers across Pakistan.

My goal is simple: make checking and understanding utility bills easier for everyone in Pakistan.

Most bill-checking apps I tried were filled with ads and only showed the final amount. I wanted to actually understand where the bill amount was coming from.

Would the detailed breakdown actually make you use this instead of the provider’s own website?

I've been building Agencly.app, a SaaS for agency owners to manage clients, projects, tasks, teams, invoices, contracts, CRM and other day-to-day operations in one place.

I'm at a point now where building isn't really the hard part anymore. Getting it in front of the right people is.

I've given Agencly to a few friends who run agencies and let them use it for free. They've found it useful and the feedback has been pretty good so far. But I also know there's a big difference between someone you know using your product for free and a stranger deciding it's valuable enough to pay for.

That's the part I'm trying to figure out now.

I'm already working aggressively on SEO and posting around twice a week across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook and Indie Hackers. I've also started being more active in relevant Reddit communities rather than just dropping product links.

But I'm not sure what I should focus on next to actually reach agency owners with buying intent.

Should I start doing cold email? Direct outreach on LinkedIn? Find niche agency communities? Try partnerships? Start running ads? Or keep focusing on organic growth until I have more traction?

If you had a working B2B SaaS and wanted to get your first 10 paying agency owners, where would you put most of your effort?

I'd especially like to hear from Pakistani founders who've managed to sell B2B SaaS internationally.
