I don't know if I can do this...

I made a post earlier today on r/CPAP. You can see it here here. I definitely wasn't in the right mental state, but even still, a lot of the responses I got felt disheartening and dismissive of what I am going through.

I was diagnosed with obstructive hypopnea. My doctor recommended the use of an APAP machine to treat it. I don't know how it works in other countries, but here, I was referred to a clinic that sells and rents the equipment. My doctor recommended that I rent the machine for a couple of months, and only purchase it if I manage to adapt to it and if the treatment is effective.

So, I rented the machine for three months. While, I was at the clinic, the therapist had me try a couple of different masks to see which would be the right fit for me. In the end, I went with a Philips Wisp Nasal mask. Now, full transparency, I am on the autism spectrum. None of the masks I wore actually felt comfortable on my face as they all felt like a sensory nightmare, but this one was the only one that I tried that actually felt like I could tolerate until I fell asleep.

It's been a little over a week since I started using the machine and it's been a miserable experience. I know that one week is way too soon, but I feel like my sleep quality is deteriorating and the machine is to blame. The mask makes my face itch, the pressure makes me feel like I am suffocating, I wake up in the middle of the night more often than I used to, the mask either slips off during my sleep because the harness is not tight enough or it feels like it's crushing my face because it's too tight.

Today, I barely managed to sleep for four hours. I had to leave work early because of how miserable I was feeling. I honestly feel like this whole thing is actively making my situation much worse... I am sorely tempted to just return the machine right now.

AITC for stealing my uncle's socks and peeing on his pillow?

Greetings, friends! I am a five year old Yorkie girl. My so-called mother has abandoned me and left me in the desolate place that is my so-called uncle's apartment. She told me that she would come pick me up on Friday evening, but who the heck knows when that will be?

Anyway, I have been here for a little over twelve hours and it's been miserable here. First off, the apartment smells nothing like me and my mom. Why not? It smells funny. Secondly, my uncle forgot to feed me for five whole minutes! He told me that he was in the bathroom, but why didn't he just stop whatever he was doing and come feed me? Also, his bed doesn't have steps leading up to it. Are you telling me that I'm supposed to suffer the indignity of letting him pick me up every time I want to get somewhere higher?

And I haven't even gotten to the straw that broke the big desert dog's back yet! The dude took a picture of me while I was napping! What gives him the right? So I decided to do something about it. I figured I needed to get my smell on his bed and claim it for me, so of course I peed on his pillow.

Guys, he freaked out! He called me a little shit and took me off the bed. Little shit? LITTLE SHIT? I'll show him little shit. So while he was having his hissy fit and replacing his pillow, I found one of his socks on the floor and stole it. He didn't even notice it for two hours until he found me munching on it later. So he couldn't have missed it that much..

So, am I the cloaca?

I just realized that if you have the Spacer background, Shepard's mom probably fights in the Battle of Earth

We know that by ME3 Hannah Shepard has been promoted to Rear Admiral and is working under Hackett (Hackett in) on the Crucible project. What do you think her role was in the battle? Was she commanding her own ship? Was she one of the commanders responsible for keeping the Crucible safe since she was working on the project?

I finally got my dad to watch Breaking Bad. He's a 64 year old retired electric engineer. Last night, we were watching episode 9 of season 2. When Jesse left the keys in the ignition my dad immediately started ranting about how that was going to drain the battery. I was like, yeah, they need some kind of conflict for the episode, right? But he just kept going on how fucking stupid it was to let the battery drain like that. When Walt started berating Jesse for it, my dad pretty much agreed with everything that he said.

Then we got to the part where Jesse dumps all of their water on the generator. Dad couldn't believe what he was seeing. "How can someone be this stupid and careless? Walt was just coming out of the RV with the fire extinguisher! Couldn't he wait five more seconds?"

Then we got to the scene where Walt was making his makeshift battery. Dad thought it was a neat little solution, even if he had some reservations about whether or not it would actually work IRL. He was practically shouting "Copper!" at the TV. Then Jesse said "wire" and he absolutely lost it. "What the hell?! He said 'element'! Anyone could tell that that's a copper wire he's holding! Did all that meth fry his brains or something?"

He was so mad, we actually had to pause the episode so he could calm down. Anyway... This is the moment my dad became Tesla.
