Poor man's belt setup

Poor man's belt setup

I'm picking up some side work for a company that requires guards to provide their own gear and equipment so I threw together a new belt setup. The gig is armed static and perimeter security for synagogues and mosques in the region.

- Uncle Mike's nylon belt w/ Safelife Defense buckle

- Zero9 single cuff holder / Peerless chained cuffs

- LE Trade in Safariland M&P 6360 / PSA Dagger (fits well w/ no retention issues)

- Surefire light holder w/ cheap rechargeable amazon light

- Eleven10 TQ holder w/ NAR CAT

- Zero9 glove holder

- LE trade Blackhawk X2 holster w/ LE trade in taser X2

- Zero9 OC holder w/ Fox 2% OC

- Safariland triple mag holder inherented from a former co-worker.

- Kabar TDI

- LE trade in 7360rds holster w/ sig p320 compact / Romeo 1 / TLR-7

- LE trade in ASP baton holder w/ baton

- LE trade in Safariland X2 holster

Preferences: I prefer straight draw non-dominant sides with the taser. I have short arms so I'm not the biggest fan of cross draw. I prefer to run my cuffs in the front where I can reach them with either hand. I have a basketweave belt setup with two sets of cuffs but I don't have an additional cuff pouch for this belt as of yet. I'm planning to grab an LE trade in Glock 19 or M&P 2.0 to replace the dagger. The Sig was produced in March of 2019 so I would like to phase it out of my rotation. I also think I'm going to switch out the Safariland triple mag pouch for a Zero9 double mag pouch. I inherited the triple so I threw it on but it adds weight and might not be necessary. I run lvl IIIa soft panels from Safariland.

What's the consensus on brinks, garda, loomis armed cash transport gigs?

I'm a current in-house armed guard trying to leave healthcare security. The workplace is becoming toxic. I originally didn't want to do cash transport but I'm at a point where I'll take the pay cut or work a full-time and part-time job.

- Are there any major quality of life differences between the three?

- what are the schedules like?

- How often do you work solo? (brinks around here is solo)

- what are employee benefits like between the three?

▲ 24 r/501st

I'm a recently approved imperial officer and my first troop is the 22nd (Mando movie premiere). I know we're supposed to recommend people visit the official 501st and Garrison website if they show interest in joining the 501st. Is it discouraged to recommend people specific sellers or vendors who would be recommended by the forums?

For example if someone asks about buying an imperial officer uniform is it discouraged from recommending wampawear, deuno novo, philoprops, darmansprops, rankbadger or ezrabailybuilds as reliable vendors?

I'm an in-house armed healthcare guard in PA and I've been certified under the PA-Act 235 (lethal weapons cert) for a few years now. I got certified through my employer but after a site transfer and a change in management I want to jump ship. The issue is I can't really find anything decent or even full-time for just armed guards. I've seen a lot of low paying part-time armed jobs ($12hr - $20hr). I've seen a few low to mid range full-time cash transport jobs ($16hr - $19hr) I've also seen a lot of full-time armed jobs asking for LE experience or a Police Academy certification on top of our armed guard certification ($25hr+)

I would prefer to work in a school but it seems like a lot of schools in Pennsylvania have transferred over to School Police Officer programs. I was wondering if anyone has advice on where to find a decent gig?
