May I present to you the worst startup ever in 2023 and my guys now. 14 SF 1.0TEP

So my buddy got me into dynasty, and i hadn’t played fantasy at all in like 5 years before 2023. I had no idea what I was doing. We drafted in like April before rookies were even drafted. And yes I took Lance at 4.6 because this same buddy told me he was the best pick there lol I’ve come a long way and my team still has work but I’m at least in contention somewhat. Just thought this would be funny to post. It’s so horrible to look at

Would you rather have double your leagues FAAB or an early 3rd?

We get $100 faab. I would have $220 if I did this trade. Curious what people think. I’m a contender and the idea of having the most faab by double is intriguing in case of a Puka type breakout

Beached Humpback whale at Mad River

Washed up this morning. The Cal Poly crew is taking their samples. About a mile north of the main parking lot at mad river beach (7/3/2026)

Idk if this fits the sub. But never had someone counter a trade with less than I offered. 14 team SF

I sent the top trade. He countered and took out 2.14. I was so thrown off but just smashed accept. He sold Judkins low yesterday, so I figured I’d send a similar offer for Kyren. He countered 3 minutes later and took out a 2.14.. never said anything

The Safety Corridor: The Battle of Safety, Speed, and Slamming Brakes

We all know the safety corridor on the 101 connecting Arcata and Eureka. But maybe we don’t talk about it enough? Every day of the last week or two I’ve seen a cop pull someone over. I’m guessing it’s usually speed, which begs the question, why you going so fast? I think locals know it’s a speed trap, but maybe the speeders are playing some corridor speed roulette? Someone takes the hit, it seems, so everyone else can zoom to our corporate overlords or tend to our chickens. And perhaps the tourists don’t recognize the signs, or are too distracted by the wind caps on the bay or looking for Bigfoot. I’ve seen way too many accidents on this stretch. How do we actually make the “safety” corridor safe? And if you’ve been pulled over, how fast were you going and did you get a ticket? Let’s hear the testimonies of the safety corridor. And before you tell me to get a job I’ll have you know I’m on the clock while making this post. But it’s work related

Gut is saying no, is it even close? 12 SF TEP PPR. Have some studs but weak at RB

Don’t need to make this trade by any means. But trying to round out my rb core. Only reason I’m considering is because of Burrows injury history and Henry would be a good contending piece

u/Tacklefina — 18 days ago

Is Pat Freiermuth a sneaky buy low in TEP? Who else is on your buy low list?

Looking to buy some low value TEs or RBs that may have a resurgence due to player and coaching changes. I like Muth to bounce back now that Jonnu and Tomlin are out and I doubt people will ask for much after some down seasons. Who else fits this category of buy low with positive regression? I’m looking to send no more than 3rds or maybe a late 2nd

Opinions on putting a temporary educational sign near my neighborhood creek? Please read description

So my neighborhood has a prominent creek in the Arcata watershed running along it. It is easily accessible from the main trail, and often sees all sorts of visitors, from kids to the houseless. I have found too many instances of people damming the creek to make a bridge, digging huge trenches of soil from the side of the creek bed, and blatant illegal dumping right next to the water way. This creek is home to ducks, turtles, herons, egrets, many fish, and even otters. It is in my nature to protect nature and I normally check on this creek and remove said bridges, bank erosion and trash. Would it be tacky to leave a little sign on a wooden stake educating the public that watersheds are essential and sensitive natural systems and should be left alone? I know most people that do these undesirable actions most likely wouldn’t read or benefit from a sign, but nothing pisses me off more than when I see blatant disregard and destruction of the habitat of soo many species that are vital to their ecosystems. I guess I’m not asking permission but more so do you think this would even be affective, seen as additional litter, or just a waste of time and supplies. If anything, let this post itself be a reminder to everyone that we share the world with countless species and ecosystems , many you may not even realize exist here and require extra education and awareness about. Now more than ever should we be striving to preserve what open nature we have left that’s not at threat of extinction or destruction. I love Humboldt and I love how many unique natural spaces we get to enjoy. Please do your best to keep it that way and educate your childen and friends about leaving nature untouched and unharmed. Pick up 3 pieces of trash a day too, cause why not, it’s not hard and I think we can all agree we’d like our home to be trash free💚

Would you make this deal in SF, 1.0 TEP? 14 man

My team is in a rebuild and I don’t love the options in the 2nd this year. The 27 2nd will be early though

I found these manga at work, one with a card inside!

So idk anything about manga and haven’t been into yugioh since middle school, but I stumbled upon this manga collection and found one sealed card inside an issue from 2004. I opened it and it is a Red Eyes B Dragon! I didn’t open it all the way once I realized it was a cool card so I can put it in a sleeve when I get home. Anyone else get this too? I don’t have a pic of the card yet either lol

How do I improve this? 12 SF PPR TEP

I have a decent amount of young, mid tier talent that I would like to consolidate for upgrades. Not sure who to sell or buy though

u/Tacklefina — 1 month ago

Would you send this trade if Pollard was your RB1? 12 Superflex PPR TEP

I have Allen, Burrow and Daniels at QB, but I have Pollard and Tracy as my RBs. Team is stacked other than RBs

u/Tacklefina — 1 month ago

What should I add to Love to send Daniels? 12SF PPR

I’m in desperate need of RB. QBs are Allen, Burrow and Daniels. Guy is interested in Daniels for Love but idk what the gap in value is for super flex

u/Tacklefina — 2 months ago

Worth it for a contender? 2nd place last year. 12 SF PPR

Team pictured 2nd slide. I’m pretty stacked right now. Feels like a move I’d make mid season if flowers got hurt. Could maybe get saquon instead for flowers

Sell the house for Chase? 12 SF PPR Start 10

I could also get Justin Jefferson for just Rice, Shough and the 1.12. Won the league last season but idk if this helps my team overall. A lot to give up
