Is Brahms a danger to society?

As it is known, the “music” of Brahms causes a strong somnific effect among people. While it’s true that Brahms may be the most reliable way to get babies to fall asleep instantly and that Brahms is the only infallible cure of insomnia, an overlooked danger of it is the totally irresponsible playing of Brahms on Classical Radio Channels. For example, I think it should be illegal for Brahms to be played on the public radio as there is no saying who would all be affected by it’s strong and instant sleep-inducing effects. It is just wildly irresponsible to play this auditory sedative on the radio. People would fall asleep while driving a car, a recipe for disaster! I don’t think sleep hypnosis would be legal to be played on the radio, so how is it that Brahms is legal when his tranquillising effect is even much stronger? Tranquillisers are illegal yet Brahms remains legal; a total double standard in my opinion.

On the flip side though, just playing Brahms might save money on anaesthetics for doctors, as they could just play Brahms, cover their ears and leave the room to make a patient fall asleep instantly, but I still think it is a great danger because criminals could misuse the drug of Brahms by making victims fall unconscious by just playing Brahms’s music while themselves wearing earplugs. It’s terrible, and this is why we shouldn’t take Brahms lightly.

In total, I just think that the responsible thing to do is to make Brahms’s “music” a highly controlled substance, the same as any other dangerous narcotic. Would you guys agree?
