Unique(?) 120/220 Issue with Pentax 645

Apparently the previous owner of my Pentax 645 partially converted the 220 film insert to shoot 120 (they flipped the little plastic doohickey inside that tells the camera whether to stop after 15 or 30 shots). I didn't know this until I tried to shoot some 220 today and the camera automatically wound to the end of the roll after 15 shots.

My question is this: can I just reload the film and shoot that same roll "backwards" until I get ~15 more shots, before developing?
