Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV – Space Marines Faction Trailer

It seems that in this version of the Blood Ravens, they are sneaky and like their phobos units, thus the juxtaposition with the DA.

What do you think? I personally really like all sorts of phobos units, and their sneakiness sounds weirdly in line with the infamous S.T.E.A.L. protocol.

Sneaky Blood Raven stole the spotlight

Due to probably oversight on the GW's part, they used not an original Indomitus Ultramarines Judiciar picture, but the Onslaught Blood Ravens Judiciar (look at the color of his shoulder pad).

Thought it's kind of funny lol.

Also, they both look so similar that I actually think they never actually painted this dude, just photoshoped a different color on the shoulder pad and called it a day.

Backlog -> Armylist

Skipped the whole 10th edition and honestly have no idea what I'm doing.

Basically, I have an ultramarines combat patrol (tigurius, aggressors, bladeguard vets, reivers, intercessors), Onslaught (chaplain, Bladeguard ancient, Judiciar, bladeguards, eradicators) and Armageddon (Captain, Librarian, Pack Chaplain, intercessors, vanguard vets, hb eradicators, land speeder).

Challenge is to shoehorn minis without buying stuff that add to the pile of shame.

Should I just give up and buy some better units, or does somewhere within those units a reasonably playable combination exist?

General idea - i can't deal a lot of damage, especially long ranged, but I can tank a lot of damage with Bladeguard vets, which are aiming for middle of the board.

With intercessors I can create enough presence while using them as pseudo markerligters. Why 2 intercessor squads instead of three? It costs 10 pts more to field 3 squads.

Reivers and Vanguards are here to bully the objective holders, depending on the enemy profile. Van Vets can begin on board as a countercharge unit if needed.

Land Speeder's main goal is to jump in with a MM, discharge it and die, same with Eradicators.

Drew this "tutorial" for a comment, might as well make a separate post

I’m a huge proponent of freehanding everything, and it might feel very intimidating at first, but in reality, all you have to do is break the logo into separate shapes and build it up step by step. It’s probably one of the hardest logos to paint, so I suggest practicing it at least 10 times on paper, starting with a larger size and gradually making it smaller and smaller. Obviously, this is easier to do on vehicles and much harder on infantry.

It probably won’t look as perfect as it does in this scheme, but it doesn’t really have to. Even if it’s a little warped and imperfect, it’s fairly manageable to make it good enough to still be recognizable.

First full squad in 4 years

Still have to do company/squad markings, but I'm yet to figure which, not to mention bases.

Love those guys esthetics, are they useful in 11th edition? I know they weren't so good before.
