Hyaluronic Acid for microneedling

So im about to start microneedling for my face but i cant seem to find a sterile hyaluronic acid that i can use during microneedling and also after it.

I have read in this subreddit that it is really important to have a good one.
So i need help to actually find a good one.
I asked claude about it and he said cos de baha ha serum.
But that is a pure ha not sterile
Also i dont even know what the difference is

Also some extra info
I will be using a dermapen m8 16 pin
With .25 for thin skin areas like forehead and under eyes and .5mm for cheeks and jaw

[Routine Help] 19M - Is at-home microneedling for facial skin worth it? How safe is it and how often should I do it?

Hey everyone,
I’m 19 years old and have been trying to improve my skin recently.
To be honest, my skin has been pretty damaged for most of my life. Growing up, there wasn’t really any concept of sunscreen in my family, and I never used it. I also didn’t have any skincare routine until recently. Over the last few months, I’ve been trying to fix that by taking better care of my skin, wearing sunscreen, and starting a basic skincare routine.
I’ve also been focusing on the fundamentals like working out regularly, eating healthier, drinking more water, and generally improving my lifestyle.
Now I’ve been looking into microneedling for overall skin improvement, texture, acne scars, and collagen production. I keep seeing people talk about doing it at home with a dermapen.
From what I’ve seen, clinics also seem to use dermapens, which makes me wonder how different professional microneedling really is compared to doing it yourself at home with proper hygiene and technique.
A few questions:
Is at-home microneedling actually worth it?
How safe is it for a 19-year-old?
What’s the difference between clinic microneedling and using a dermapen yourself?
How often should it be done?
What needle depths are generally recommended for beginners?
Are there any risks I should know about before starting?
For those who have done both clinic and at-home microneedling, how did the results compare?
I’m not expecting miracles, just trying to improve my skin over time and wondering whether investing in a dermapen makes sense before spending a lot of money on clinic treatments.
Would appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks!

19M with hair thinning - Microneedling + Minoxidil at home vs clinic treatments?

Hey everyone,
I’m 19 years old and have been dealing with hair thinning for the past couple of years. I have a family history of hair loss, and my hair has definitely become thinner over time.
A while back I did a few sessions of PRP and microneedling at a clinic. Unfortunately, it got pretty expensive, so I stopped. At the time I wasn’t using minoxidil, and honestly I still haven’t started it yet. Right now I’m only taking finasteride.
Lately I’ve been reading about microneedling combined with minoxidil and seeing a lot of people mention dermapens for at-home use. Since clinic microneedling is expensive, I’m wondering if buying a dermapen and doing it myself would be a reasonable option.
A few questions:
How effective is microneedling + minoxidil compared to finasteride alone?
Is at-home microneedling with a dermapen actually safe and effective if done correctly?
What needle depth and frequency do you guys use?
Should minoxidil be applied immediately after microneedling or should I wait?
Is 19 too young to start minoxidil and microneedling, or is it better to start early if hair thinning is already noticeable?
Has anyone here switched from clinic microneedling to doing it themselves at home? How were your results?
For context, I’m already on finasteride and tolerating it well. I’m mainly trying to figure out whether adding minoxidil and at-home microneedling is worth it before spending more money on clinic treatments.
Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
