Same Photos Repeatedly Trying to Upload

Hi all. I recently did a clean install of my Immich server. I restored my library backup and I've got everything working except for this issue.

I hadn't been backing up for quite a few months so after the fresh install it had to upload everything from that time which included the very large video file you see in the example. This errored out to begin with as I'd set up Nginx Proxy Manager and didn't know I had to set a custom flag to allow large files. I initially set it incorrectly which then blocked all uploads. After fixing that, everything uploaded fine as far as I knew. Then I realised that it was doing this every time it connected to wifi. I'm not sure I'd have noticed if it wasn't for the large video grinding the rest of the wifi to a halt.

It's only upon reconnecting that it tries the upload again as well. If I let the video finish, it thinks everything is uploaded and all is good but I've confirmed they're not in the library. I wondered if there's stuck corrupted versions in the upload folder but I can't find them searching for the original file name and I'm not checking every single folder of that dense hexadecimal folder tree.

These remaining items aren't all consecutive and are scattered throughout the library as well which makes finding them trickier as all I have to go on is the flashes of thumbnails on the upload screen.

Any thoughts on steps to try?

Why are all the uniformity issues with the 77" C6H in the same place?

I don't want this to be just another thread about 'Hey my new TV has this issue. What should I do?' It's concerning to me that in all the posts about this, the colour uniformity is not only the same colours but in the exact same positioning - along the bottom edge and that big vertical stripe a few inches in from the right hand side. For interest, I've added some real world content examples that aren't just big fields of similar colours to show that it can really affect particularly skintones in both animated and live action scenes.

It seems to point to an underlying flaw in the production of these panels rather than just a QC issue which you'd think would exhibit in different places even if it's an issue with the same colour.

I guess I'm concerned that every single unit will have this problem and if I try to get an exchange I'll be going through multiple units just trying to find one that's good.

What am I giving up using an unmanaged/non-Ubiquiti switch?

Hi all. I'm building out a new networking setup and need 2.5Gb for a few devices and PoE+ for a U7 Pro and PoE for a couple of other devices. The cost of the Flex 2.5G 8-port PoE++ seems like the obvious fit but at a cost of ~$520 (AUD as I'm in Australia) for it plus its power adapter, it really doesn't seem worth it over my original option of an unmanaged 2.5Gb PoE+ switch recommended in a Serve the Home article I read for $150AUD.

What functionality would I be losing going this route and would that be the same with any unmanaged switch? Surely the devices on the network such as the AP will still be configurable and they don't need to be plugged into a managed switch to work.

My current plan is to use a UDR7+U7 Pro plus a switch to cover both levels of my apartment. I considered using a Cloud Gateway Fibre and two U7 Pros but then I'd still need an extra switch given that only has a single PoE+ port anyway. If there are any other alternatives, I'd be happy to hear them.

5.1.4 Angled Ceiling Speaker Options for ~$250-300AUD/pair - Or reduce to 5.1.2?

What seems to be the go for the angled speakers these days? The thread on AVS Forum gets linked to a lot but there are a number of dead links in the initial post or some significantly higher pricing (at least in my region). I see a lot of people saying that you should really not be spending much money on your height speakers so I'm trying to find an option that doesn't break the bank. I was expecting $250-$300 AUD a pair with the intention of doing a 5.1.4 but I'm not sure that's going to be doable unless there are new recommendations not on the list.

I'm currently using 4x small Yamaha HTIB speakers I had lying around and they're not really pulling their weight. They're currently about 30 degrees from the MLP and roughly ~1.5m from the couch. I have 2.4m high ceilings so I thought going in-ceiling would give me a little bit of extra height to lift the height effects a bit but all of the 30 degree options seem to be way out. The Monoprice 6.5" 15/30 degreee options are probably the cheapest at $340/pair for an import. If I go for a 15 degree speaker like the often recommended RSL C43E MKII, I'd have to bring them a lot closer in. They're also $250ea so at that point, would it make more sense to go back to a 5.1.2 config?

The rest of my system is a Denon X3800H with Dali Zensor 5, Vokal and 1 with a Yamaha YST-RSW300 sub.

PIR vs Presence Sensor for dual zone Hallway & Stairwell

Hi all. Just starting out with Home Assistant and I want to put wall lighting on the stairs and hallway in this floorplan (the white study wall is only about 1m high btw). I've read that PIR are better for this application but I'm not 100% clear on how they work. Are they a single trip with a timer or do they do a more basic version of presence detection? I really don't want them on a timer and want the lights to switch off after leaving the space. The hallway and stairs need to be zoned separately too which might be tricky in that space as I don't know if you can refine a PIR detection area.

It seemed like the Aqara FP2 would potentially be better as I could get it hardwired into the corner at the same time as doing the lights and I should only need one to cover the whole area and then I could even set up automations for coming out of the bathroom which I doubt would be possible with the PIR sensors.

Any suggestions of which way to go?
