Deep grill basket that is made of actual stainless steel?

Deep grill basket that is made of actual stainless steel?

Seems like locally available grill baskets are just nickel/chrome plated iron, and have to be thrown away in a year of so due to rusting.

Are there any brand that makes actual stainless (rust-resistant) grill baskets?

Also, I need it available in EU...

Thanks!

Silly: Non-plastic gaming chopsticks (snacking sticks)?

Hi,

I have regular gaming nights with a friend, where we play some PSx games with some snacks (not totally junk food, like various beef jerky & similar meat products, cheese).

He has some plastic "gaming chopsticks" ir "snacking chopsticks", but they are of course completely plastic...

I've just thought how cool it would be if someone made "retro" (wooden) chopsticks with just a plastic handles just for the fingers themselves, so it could be used while holding gamepad. Or even somehow without plastic a all, yet still flexible (maybe using metal plate-spring?).

Separate flexible plastic adapter for regular chopsticks could work too. There are quite beautiful hand-made chopsticks in Etsy & elsewhere, that could be even a part of birthday / Christmas gifts...

So far I can't find any, too niche of course, so marked as "Silly" post 🤪 .

EDIT: It seems there WAS such product, but no longer available:

If micro/nano plastics are being found in human body, is there nano cotton/linen/wool, nano wood/paper/cellulose, nano-clay, etc. too?

I guess if natural "nano" particles enters our body, our enzymes could deal with them without causing too much problems, compared to brand-new plastics?

Is there non-Chinese brand with easy (official) fw upgrade option?

My old TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 does not handle upgraded 500Mbps fiber (was 100Mbps copper), so I guess I need upgrade.

But it seems there is no "perfect" option. I was asking ChatGPT/Grok about these requirements:

>* Manufacturer company is NOT Chinese-based.

>* Easy official OpenWRT installation via stock UI (no "hacks", no"flash layout changes", no "cloud registration", etc).

>* Good OpenWRT Ethernet, WiFi drivers.

>* 4 LAN ports (for implementing "DMZ" VLANs), must have WiFi (2.4Ghz and newer support).

>* Not old model, ability to buy new one in Europe(Lithuania).

And the "best" one is probably ASUS TUF-AX6000 or TUF-AX4200 (Netgear is not very much available in my country it seems, latest models not supported by OpenWRT?). Buy I DON'T want to buy router with no easy official way to change firmware (ASUS seems no longer allow, needs some sort of "TRX" firmware, whatever that means) :( .

There was some Zyxel model (IIRC) but they need "CLoUD RegISTrAtIon" (f-that) to allow flashing different firmware...

I want to "vote with my wallet", but I guess I'll have to compromise...?

Got interesting reply to the idea I've communicated that lot's and lot's of issues is due to goBerment meddling in all stuff.

Got shouted at that it's like saying "gun is guilty of crime, not human who used gun". As if it's CapITAl that uses government for bad things, and government institution (state) cannot be accused here.

EDIT: from 24.10.6

I heard that 8MB flash routers are considered old now, and might be some issues?

I don't have any packages installed, so maybe I will be fine (for now)?

I DO need to find a replacement, as this oldie cannot handle my upgraded 500Mbps fiber, but no time now to choose alternative.

Thanks!
