I’m looking at a wood fired hot tub from AliExpress, since my options for affordable wood burners in the States are basically none. (I have a Swedish friend who just got a hybrid electric and wood burning 4 person tub from Nordiskatunnen for $6500 and I really resent that to buy an equivalent in the States is $15-$20k)

Has anyone here done this and know anything about what kind of customs and import headaches I’m getting into? Are those headaches worth it for the thousands of dollars saved?

Coming out the side of my transmission. Vacuum fitting? Fluid hose of some sort? Is something important meant to be attached to this barb?

Pin pulled out trying to seat the pulley on the new power steering pump. I had to chase the threads in the pump shaft, use a longer bolt, and stacked two box end wrenches around the bolt as spacers to push the pulley home. 🤦‍♂️

Installing replacement shocks, Today, and it looks like someone crushed the rear lower perches. They’re now too narrow to allow the sleeve retainer washers to fit, and I can’t figure out how to get enough force on the perch to spread it back out.

My engine is from a mid to late ‘70s F250 and the truck has been converted to power steering.

My pump has begun knocking pretty bad (confirmed it’s the pump by disconnecting and running the engine without it) so I figure it’s time to replace. It’s never been very strong, anyway.

How the heck do I figure out which pump to order? Mine has no legible markings. Seems to mount to the carrier with three bolts.

But my IRL acquaintances just don’t understand how cool this is!

The VIN on my 1968 F100 isn’t that helpful, as someone(s) made quite a few changes to this truck over its life, including swapping in a 460 and swapping out the bumper for a heavy duty towing unit.

I seem to have more springs than other images I can find for similar trucks, and the stops also appear to be an addition.

Anyone here able to ballpark my load capacity based on these springs?

I backed into a stump that wasn’t in the way when I drove forward over it, and now I need to replace this thing. I thought crossmember, but when I look those up it shows me a different part.

My temp sender seems to have failed during my thermostat housing swap (not sure how they could be related).

The local parts stores have senders that are supposed exact fits for this 460, but they all have a protruding threaded nipple.

This wire wound thing seems permanently connected.

What am I missing?

Forgive the puddle of coolant. I went to remove the sender and take it with me to the store, but it seems Aristotle had a good point about water seeking level and radiator fill heights.
