Is it worth doing a general petition for a Late Withdrawal?

I am trying to see is it worth filing a late withdrawal as I have had issues with this one class and one professor. I was extremely sick this semester and received documentation regarding my sickness and all but one of my professors worked with me. For the first exam, it was completely my fault as a I received documentation late and I also informed the wrong person ( my TA.) I was willing to take the L on that however I was also sick around the time of my final exam, I received proper documentation and followed my professor (has also stated that my documentation was invalid despite being from the campus wellness center) syllabus down to a T but was told to just fill out a grievance and I received an F in the class.

I would like to know is worth doing an appeal and it this the appropriate measure to take?

Issues with final grade

Earlier this semester, I became sick around midterms and I was unable to attend it. I updated my GA as they are the main one over the exams and administered the exams so they would know that I wouldn’t be present. My professor themselves has stated that they don’t interact with the exams except for the final. The GA worked with me until she was unable to and told me to contact my professor as for a time to take the exam. After contacting my professor, he told me that I was unable to take the exam but he would offer me an incomplete. I agree to the incomplete but my emails aren’t even answered and I have to send a follow up to even get a response from my professor.

After receiving a response, we started the process from an incomplete which starts off fine. Until my professor finds an issue with my doctor’s note, until I prove them wrong. After that my professor says that I am not eligible ( I have documentation and have finished 3/4ths of my course work.) and I can just file a grievance and they won’t finish the incomplete.

At this point I just would like to know what my options are. I would have just withdrawn from the class if it was going to be all of this. I would like to know if anybody has had this issue before or if they have submitted a grade appeal/grievance.

I could understand if I was at school that had a team and I was unable to make it but my school doesn’t even have a women’s wrestling program. If I transfer to a women’s program that does, I will only have two years of eligibility. It just doesn’t make sense to lose years for opportunities that are not available.
