"Mom - how can you be anxious, when I'm your teddy bear?"
My beautiful and soft Fix. He draws out all the panic and anxiety. I love him.

How is it going, getting them used to each other? Any progress?
My heart is absolutely melting
"Maybe there's a reason, I usually can't access her food... "
Yes Fix, yes there is ... You gluttonous idiot
u/eillow_mosspike @littledipperdice made these, and they finally arrived. Absolutely beautiful! It's their "summer court indpired" set.
I just got this mail from my pet insurance, and I wated to share with my fellow anxious souls.
In my country, the inside of houses can right now get just as hot as the outside:
To get rid of excess heat, the cat can breathe so that the heat is released via the mucous membranes of the mouth. If possible, they can also cool off by putting their stomach against a cool floor.
Animals that have narrow airways, are sick, overweight, or very young or old may have a harder time dealing with the heat. The same is true of animals that have black or long fur.
Symptoms of heat stroke:
Cats can have many different symptoms of heat stroke such as wheezing, red and dry mucous membranes, agitation, wobbly gait, increased salivation, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Heat stroke can also lead to unconsciousness.
If you suspect your cat is having heatstroke, make sure they cool down by using cool, wet towels – especially in the groin and armpits. Note that the cat must not be cooled with ice-cold water.
How to protect your cat from heatstroke:
- Put water out both outside and inside. Provide ventilation, but of course only with securely fenced windows and balconies.
- All animals left in a car risk dying as the temperature rises quickly – even if the car is parked in the shade.
- If the cat is panting, it should be taken into the shade and cooled with wet, cool bath towels – especially in the groin and armpits.
- In case of suspicion of heat stroke or general poor general condition, you should always contact your veterinarian.
EDIT: From u/lalamedic
It’s very important to not use ice packs or ice cold water. This will cause surface blood vessels to constrict, reducing surface blood flow. Cats and dogs don’t sweat, but they do dilate their blood vessels to try to cool down more blood at a time. Ice can also cause frostbite.

It's lovely and chill inside - but noooo! Outside!
Fix and his new cuddle-buddy
Fix loves his "ball in the figure 8"-toy... Not really to play with, but as a bed. And even though he's far too big to fit anymore, he still insists on sleeping in it.
