I have an interview scheduled next week for a clinical tech specialist role with Zimmer.
I’m hoping to gain some insight or advice on the role itself. For context, I have four years of experience in tech/IT but zero medical experience.
Any advice for the interview or the role? Or should I avoid?

I’m supposed to return to work after medical leave. I submitted all necessary paperwork and now they’re telling me that I’ll have to wait to hear from Apple for my return but I haven’t heard anything back. It’s so frustrating.

29 years old. I had PRK done five days ago and planned to return Monday. My right eye is still very blurry and dry feeling. I work as a technician with screens, bright lights and repairs. I’m worried I didn’t take enough time off.

I have very mixed feelings so far. Half of my customers have declined them.

I’m curious if there’s any contract/vendor workers here.
I currently work Apple retail-but want to relocate and look for a career change. So, now I’m considering taking on a contract or vendor role that is either remote or on site.

How do we go about finding current contract or vendor roles within Apple? I’m a technician but also have experience in writing and production. Any insight is much appreciated!

I had to call out last week because I wasn’t feeling well. However I don’t have enough sick time to cover so it’s showing as unexcused on my attendance.
I have good attendance (10% of shifts impacted for last 90 days) but a lot of my sick time has been going towards days off for doctors appointments.
Should I be in okay standing still or could this still get me on a DC?

My friends birthday is late October. Yesterday he sent out invites for a huge 30th birthday party he’s having.
Him and I have close birthdays-Mine is 8 days before his. I’m also turning 30 and have been considering going on a big vacation to celebrate that month.
However, I don’t have any official trip or time off booked yet. I told my friend that I’m very thankful for the invite-but my birthday lines up closely with his and not sure if I’ll be traveling so I can’t RSVP quite yet. But, I did let him know I’ll definitely go if my potential birthday plans don’t get in the way.

He was cool with it-but I told my partner about the situation and she said it’s rude of me to not plan to go especially since I don’t have plans for my birthday yet.

Hi,
I’m looking for stories from people who’ve left Apple retail. Why did you leave? Do you have any regrets leaving? What do you do for work now?

I’ve worked with Apple for four years. I thought I was going to stay seasonal then leave lol. Currently work at the Genius Bar as a TE, have had a CE but the motivation to stay in retail is dwindling. I want to explore new careers but have no idea what I want to do for a living.

Just looking for some inspiration and perspectives.
