For China, the economic data was mostly extracted from individual county-level articles available on Baidu, all of which were up-to-date, to my pleasant surprise. For India, I had to rely on research from the Strategisttech website, as well as employment and economic structure data from the 2011 census. (This is not intended to be a definitive representation of reality; it is merely a simple estimate that can help us get a general idea.)

I use the same scale of measurement as with the map of population density in China by county for a better comparison.

The attached image is my strongest memory of this game. It was made in Flash (with very nice animation, by the way). You had to propel a series of happy green circles so that they would all be absorbed by a small black hole on the map. Sometimes angry red squares would appear, which you should NOT propel, or you would lose points. On some maps, white holes appeared as obstacles. You interacted with the game by clicking on the mesh, and the longer you held the click, the more a ripple effect it created when you released it. I remember playing it for the last time between 2007 and 2012, but I've completely forgotten its name.
