Wata Igarashi @ XRDS
Can’t lie, had never heard of Wata before, but just got back from Brussels and he played one of the best sets I’ve ever seen. My one video is of this track that absolutely blew my mind.
Any ideas anyone?

I’ve had a few incidents in my life recently that have really got me thinking whether life has always been like this since I’ve only been living independently for a few years.
Our gas went off for five days recently. Not our fault, not our energy supplier’s fault, but that of the gas network. They needed to replace an underground pipe that was faulty. Ofgem require a minimum compensation of £70 a day which I have asked for but now Cadent are kicking back saying it was only two days and that they completed it to the schedule requested so don’t owe us a penny? We did not request a date by the way, they just told us when it would be done by.
I’ve had a parcel lost by DPD for which I should’ve received about £100. I’ve spent FIVE WEEKS going back and forth with them, providing all the crazy numbers and details they’ve asked for, and they are still dragging their heels about paying out the compensation.
I recently completed a welcome offer with an online casino. Admittedly, they and I both know I only signed up to do the offer and walk away with the winnings (about £40), but they’ve now decided it’s the perfect time to run some “background and identity checks” and wanted a posted proof of address. I have tried two different documents, both listed as acceptable on their website, and have simply got the response “we need to see a different document”. I can’t withdraw my money until I pass the checks.
Is this a recent pattern coinciding with the generally bad economic situation and enshittification of everything meaning companies are trying harder to clench onto their pennies even when I’m legally owed them, or has adult life just always been this annoying? I’m by no means swimming in cash and the couple of hundred pounds I’m owed would certainly make things more comfortable until payday.
