Trust me bro james no diffed tom with his path

Trust me bro james no diffed tom with his path

I even said the fight was high diff even before this chapter, and some mfs heavily downvoted me. Well, it’s not like I can argue with those ignorant fanboys who don’t even know how to calculate diff

And now it should be clear, it wasn’t high diff, it was extreme diff and that kitae > path james low diff

Well tbh it's so funny that this fraud Lee got extreme diffed by an molestoe, out of prime incel old man, Gun is far better; even hfg base Gun is tiers above this fraud angel who got his ass whooped even after becoming a angel

Not to mention, I even said the Path wouldn’t help him much but 🥀🥀

James path

I think grass is green and his path lets him reflect an opponent’s attack back at them with equal force, or maybe slightly weaker (around 10–20%) like in that panel, he had no real reason to say ‘I didn’t think it’d be this dangerous’ but we know that he could’ve killed Jagyeon easily from the start unlike Tom. That line was probably because he didn’t expect the death kick to hit hard enough to leave Jagyeon in that condition. I’m not exactly sure how lethal the death kick was, but I seriously doubt it could kill James. Most likely, he used his path there just to gauge how much Jagyeon had grown. Against Tom, though, it was clearly different, he wasn’t messing around. His expression straight up looked like he knew he was screwed if he failed to dodge.

r2- yujiro will go for the kill directly from the st and for james it's same all out

Just finished this Manga

It’s not some masterpiece or genre defining romcom, but if you like casual romance manga and want something fun and easy to read, it’s definitely better than I initially thought tho tbh the last chapters was hilarious for a moment

Between Apotheosis and Martial Peak, Which Did You Enjoy More?

Personally, I would prefer the manhua version of Martial Peak.

Not because Apotheosis is bad, far from it but because the Apotheosis manhua rushed so many important moments and honestly did the source material dirty at times. Some arcs that should’ve felt grand or emotional were sped through too quickly and a lot of the depth behind Luo Zheng’s journey got lost because of the pacing. There are moments where the story feels like it’s constantly sprinting forward without giving enough time for the world, characters, or tension to breathe.

That being said, Apotheosis still excels in areas where very few cultivation manhua can compete. The scale of the world building is insane. The higher you climb, the more the story starts feeling cosmic and mysterious rather than just “young master of the week.” The lore, the hidden truths of the universe, the ancient powers and the feeling that there’s always a bigger realm beyond the current one are all handled extremely well. Luo Zheng’s path also feels more tied to uncovering truths about existence itself, which gives the story a more epic and philosophical atmosphere at times.

Meanwhile, Martial Peak succeeds in a completely different way. It’s basically the embodiment of cultivation addiction. Yang Kai’s journey is ridiculously satisfying because the progression never stops feeling rewarding. Whether it’s him surviving impossible situations, outsmarting stronger enemies, traveling through different worlds, or slowly becoming a peak existence, the series constantly keeps the momentum going. The manhua understands exactly what readers come for, hype moments, consistent advancement, badass fights, and the feeling of watching someone climb from nothing to the absolute peak step by step.

I also think Martial Peak handles pacing better for a long running cultivation manhua. Even with thousands of chapters, it rarely feels like it completely loses its identity. Yang Kai remains entertaining throughout and the series balances action, comedy, survival and cultivation progression in a way that keeps people binge reading nonstop.

So for me Apotheosis is better lore, mystery, scale, and cosmic atmosphere.

And Martial Peak is better pacing, consistency, hype, and overall reading enjoyment.

If Apotheosis had gotten a slower and more faithful adaptation, I honestly think it could’ve surpassed Martial Peak for me. But as a manhua experience overall, I’d still choose Martial Peak.

What about you guys?
