First Attempts

I was just wondering how I did, lol. I can't stop overanalyzing... First time decorating any type of cookie. I used the sugar cookie and royal icing recipes from Sally's! Any tips? I have a gala in about a month that I will be making the cookies for.

Hi, I'm a Special Education Teacher who is going to be teaching my students how to make their Moving On Ceremony cake. They are 18-21 year old who dont really have baking experience (some decorating experience with ice cream cakes). I was thinking of doing something more on the basic side (we only have a month to practice)!

Does a sheet cake (half yellow/half chocolate) with strawberry compote and custard filling make sense? What type of frosting should I use? I was also thinking of doing a buttercream transfer of the logo!

Am i crazy?
