Letting go of envy and jealousy

Hi guys, how do you keep gratitude and not feel jealousy or envy for when someone close to you achieves something you’ve been working so hard for? I am grateful to have the opportunity for these things, and proud of my friends for achieving, which I let them know often. I wouldn’t say I’m a jealous or envious person at all. However, there is still part of me which feels salty and jealous. How can I get rid of this? (Ref, my friend has potentially got the PhD position I also applied for and wanted so, so badly, but I’d be wanting to practice gratitude and let go of envy more broadly in life going forward).

breaking the binge/restrict/overexercise cycle?

Hi all, I’ve struggled with EDs for over 10 years. I’m now in a place where I cyclically binge, restrict, overexercise and it’s ruined my life. However, I have this weird tension where the binges at night are planned, as a condition/permission of my exercise and restriction in the day. I hate living like this, waking up feeling bloated, sick, consuming 1000s of calories in one go. Yet, at the same time, I weirdly enjoy it and look forward to it? I know I need to introduce regular eating, consistently and enough, and stop/reduce the exercise for things to normalise, but does anyone else kind of like and hate their binges at the same time? It has become the only bit of joy and relief, but at the same time so destructive. Interested to know your thoughts :))

Substack recommendations

Hi guys, does anyone have any interesting anthropology Substack accounts they’d recommend? I specialise in medical anthropology but open to anything! I also love anything politics/pop culture/health.

Thank you!

Kindle Unlimited Reccs?

Does anybody have any reccs that are on kindle unlimited? I’m trying not to buy books this month! I generally love non fiction but happy with fiction too, I also tend to steer away from romantasy but open to anything! Thank you :))
