Hybrid Online Graduates and Hiring/Jobs

Are there any hybrid online law school program graduates that finished law school in their 40's that are still lurking on this thread that may have insight into what hiring looked like at that age? Was there a significant amount of career services involvement or recruitment in their programs? What type of law did they go into directly out of school? I have 10 years in academia as a tenured faculty member, and two master's degrees (one in information science, and one in software engineering) and trying to see what things looked like for career changers in their late 30's or early 40's at the time of graduation.

Law School for Patent Law

I've heard advice in several places that the law school you attend, unless it is a t14 school, matters very little for patent law, that it is passing the patent bar and having a technical/scientific background that is most important, is this true? I'm currently deciding between two law schools, one that has a more robust IP/patent curriculum and faculty in the research area, and one that is a more general JD program, does coursework at a specific school in IP.patent law necessary or even considered in hiring?

Patent Bar Qualifications Question

I have an ABET accredited master's in software engineering, which is not listed under category A. I do not have the 8 semester hours of bio, chem, or physics. Any chance I will be accepted to take the exam just with the Master's in SE without having to meet these two requirements? The documentation does mention that requisite training will be considered on a case by case basis. Anyone have any luck with an MSSE without those eight semester hours? Thanks in advance for your response.
