Cyberpunk flatlines on startup unless I run the launcher with admin

Pretty much the title, is there a fix to this, playing it on steam and I'd prefer if i could even bypass the launcher completely, i tried using the launch option "--launcher-skip" which just makes it flatline when I try open it with steam

Prerequisites:

I used an 8GB RAM model of the Pi 5, the 4GB one may work but I'm not 100% sure as I don't own one, if someone could try it and tell, me that'd be awesome.

I've also never formatted a full guide like this so it may not be the best, I tried to make it as clear as possible.

If you have any questions or don't understand something, feel free to ask

The software I used/downloaded is listed here:
-[Android 15 image](https://app.filen.io/#/d/5d5d6590-b571-4fc0-a17a-78b37307b1a2%2376686d5158486b4f696c723331376b445a3575556b3056436171596b746b4b6d)
-[Raspberry Pi imager](https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/)
-[Clone Hero APK](https://github.com/clonehero-game/releases/releases/download/v1.1.0.6085-final/v1.1.0.6085-final.apk)
-[MacroDroid](https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/arlosoft/macrodroid-device-automation-2/macrodroid-device-automation-5-52-5-release/macrodroid-device-automation-5-52-5-android-apk-download/download/?key=c05796f1628d471d465611314dc733a6c42083fd)

Flash the Android image to a micro SD card, or SSD:

  1. Extract the Android image file if its zipped to get an ISO file

  2. Within the OS section of the Raspberry Pi imager, select "Use custom" and select the ISO file you extracted, then click next to move onto storage

  3. Select the drive you want to flash, this erases everything on that drive, so be careful to select the correct one and to make sure nothing important is on it

  4. Move onto the writing section and write the image to the drive to finish setting it up

  5. (Extra step for anyone using an NVME drive) Plug the flashed drive into your computer and open the boot folder in it and open the file named "config.txt", scroll down until you find the section labelled "# Boot device" and edit it to look like this:

# Boot device
#dtoverlay=android-sdcard
#dtoverlay=android-usb
dtoverlay=android-nvme

Setting up Android + Installing Clone Hero:

  1. Go through the basic setup using a mouse and keyboard, connecting WiFi, setting up time, etc (I recommend no password if you want it to be for Clone Hero only)

  2. Once that is done, I used an external drive to transfer the APKs over as I found the in built browser to be bad.

  3. Double click the Clone Hero APK in the file manager to isntall it, you will need to allow "Install unknown apps" for the file for it to install

Settings I changed for better performance:

  1. First of all in Clone Hero, I had to map my CRKD guitar to the right buttons and within video settings I set "background animation" to static otherwise the menus were very slow and laggy.

  2. Next, in Android settings, go to About tablet and scroll down to "Build number", spam this until it says you're a developer.

  3. Go to System>"Raspberry Pi Settings" and set "Maximum CPU Frequency" to 2600 this may be able to go higher but it can cause bootlooping if your Pi can't handle a higher overclock. Also set the "CPU governor to performance

  4. Then go to System>"Developer Settings" and go to "Graphics Driver Preferences" and set Clone hero to "System Graphics Driver"

Set Clone Hero to open on boot (Optional):

This app does cost money for the premium version, I'm not listing where you can download modded version to get this for free, but you can find them

  1. Install the MacroDroid APK

  2. Go to Settings>Apps>Macrodroid and click the 3 dots in the corner and allow restricted settings

  3. In MacroDroid, click add macro

  4. Click Add Trigger>"Device Events">"Device Boot"

  5. Click Add Action>Applications>"Launch Application">"Select Application">"Clone Hero">"Force new">OK

  6. Name your macro, then press the plus in the bottom right to save it

  7. To add songs copy them to the file explorer>"Raspberry Pi 5">Documents>"Clone Hero">Songs and rescan in Clone Hero settings

Extra fix for Bluetooth headphones:

I found that my headphones were cutting out after about 5 minutes and I'd need to restart them, so I changed these settings:

  1. System>"Developer Options">"Bluetooth AVRCP Version" set this to 1.4

  2. System>"Developer Options>"Bluetooth Audio Codec" to SBC

Edit:

Storage fix:

Just realised the storage size isn't correct by default
Install this resize zip file and add it to your Pi

  1. In settings search for "Advanced restart" and enable that

  2. Swipe down to quick settings and press the power button>restart>recovery

  3. This should boot it into TWRP, click Install, find the resize zip in the file explorer and click that

  4. Enable "Reboot after installation is complete" then swipe to confirm flash

Now in storage settings it should display the correct size.

it runs pretty well with a 512gb nvme ssd, so I'm not gonna run out of song storage soon
