Security PIN Always Has To Be Entered Twice

As the title suggests, I always have to enter my PIN twice to unlock my Galaxy Ultra watch.

It unlocks when I first put it on but a few minutes later I find that it's locked itself again so I have to enter the number a second time. After that it's fine.

Does anyone else have this issue or know what causes it?

What Happened to % Win Rate?

Who was the mental pygmy at Miniclip who decided to replace the percentage win rate with all this "Send Cheers" bullshit?

You used to be able to gauge your opponent's ability and chances of success by his win rate. Now it just shows how many 👍 he has sent or received. Pointless! 😡

No refund for milk containers in WA

Never believe what is written on the carton.

Despite Coles milk now offering a 10c refund on the side of the packet, Containers for Change will not honour this in Western Australia. Their excuse is that it only applies in the NT. Go figure. 🙄

Time Wasters

Over the past week or so I've encountered a lot more time wasters (aka Wankers) in this game.

Even though they have high win rate percentages and are Emporer level or above they just blast the balls around the table, deliberately missing easy shots.

Why do they do this? Are they bored? On drugs?

I always win because they are not even trying. Seems like a waste of their time and mine.

Back On Google Assistant and Loving It!!

I have been forced to revert back to Google Assistant because of the myriad of issues with Gemini were just getting too much. And I have to say that after experiencing months of problems with Gemini going back to GA was like a breath of fresh air.

I can now tell any of my Nest speakers (1 x Hub + 3 x Minis) to play my favourite radio station and it does so straight away. With Gemini it was hit and miss. Sometimes total silence, sometimes it couldn't find and/or play it and other times a totally different station in another country.

Device operation is now a breeze again with GA and lights, TV's, garage door openers and smart switches all functioning normally again. With Gemini it would sometimes work, sometimes not.

Like many other users around the globe, I feel that Gemini for Home is still in it's beta testing stage and as such is not ready to be released to the general public. However, I appreciate that competition in the AI field between Google, ChatGPT, Grok etc is intense and it's a race to see who can secure the biggest market share. But to release Gemini in it's current form does Google no favours as people now associate Google with a failed product that does not work.

Hopefully, in a year or so, Gemini will have evolved to a point where it is reliable, stable and functional and I will be happy to make the switch once more. But in the interim I have neither the time or the patience to wrestle with the vagaries of Gemini and will stay with Google Assistant.

Absolute Rubbish

It's official, Google admitted today that setting a default music provider in your Home app is a complete waste of time.

My favourite radio station stopped being streamed on TuneIn but was available on iHeartRadio. So I changed the default in my Home app. No effect whatsoever.

After "discussing" the issue at some length with this piece of AI junk it finally confessed that default music providers didn't work and to nominate the provider after the name of the station. Pathetic!

And if you want any further proof how screwed up Google Gemini/Home is, it even suggested that I use the command "Hey Alexa".

Google has some really big problems with this piece of AI slopware.
