Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are currently regarded as the top tier Bollywood Actresses but none of them is close to Priyanka Chopra versatility and dedication in Barfi and no other new Hindi Film Industry Actress has given a spectacular performance like that. The way she says the word “Barfi” gives me goosebumps and I get emotional! Everytime I see her in Barfi I get emotional triggered!Priyanka Chopra in Varanasi would be definitely great to watch! She deserves the global recognition.

Shahid Kapoor Sir’s Acting in Haider isn’t really understood by the masses! It’s an incomparable, irreplaceable performance. I wonder how beyond our comprehension can this Man go if a Filmmaker such as Aditya Dhar or SS Rajamouli makes a project with him. There are good actors and great actors but then there are Shahid Kapoor’s eyes acting and speaking dialogues in a movie like Haider. He’s a criminally underrated Actor and hasn’t gotten his due yet! He doesn’t get enough credit. He overshadowed KK Menon, Tabu and it’s a controversial opinion but even Irfan Sir, although they nailed it in their respective roles but Shahid Kapoor Sir was in his absolute best. I remember his expression in a scene where the Police arrests him. “Tu dua mein tha issi liye nahin maara tujhe, maardeta toh tujh jaise suar ko bhi jannat miljati”!

Where have the JL50 upcoming Seasons gone? They never aired! Why? It was quite a decent series and I was looking forward to another season atleast. That season was a perfect blend of the time travel concept with realistic or subtle scenes throughout the episodes, nothing over the top or caricaturing! Abhay Deol Sir was too good in it, just like a normal Man no over the top acting and he felt so real! Why aren’t Indian web series made on the subject of time travel? It’s an immersive topic for a web series! I wish there will be more time travel based series made with an actor like Abhay Deol where themes like character exploration and in-depth storytelling would be taken into consideration and I hope there comes a Season 2 of JL50 for the audiences! I myself didn’t understand the ending of the series!

I’m a Boy from Kashmir India and I have always been a Cinephile and i believe we really have missed onto what we could have been as a horror genre (maybe except for a few good horror films)!

Well, I’ve always wondered why there hasn’t been a horror movie in India based on the stories of Kashmiri folklore. There is a mythical creature in Kashmir called the Rantas, and there are numerous other creatures deeply rooted in the history, folklore, consciousness, and beliefs of the people. Opinions and descriptions vary from one person to another, depending on the generation they belong to and what they have actually witnessed or experienced in their lives. Yachh/Wai Wuf, Daen, Bramrahchokh, Wanmohniv, Agar Pachin, Pasikdar, Pari, Tasruph Dar and I’m definitely forgetting other creatures and stories. My point is, why adapt stories from Hollywood or any other film industry when your own land has such a vast volume of stories that could be brought to life on screen with the right conviction and accurate portrayal? There aren’t even documentaries made on the mysteries Kashmir holds and the unprecedented sense of emotion and imagination that these stories evoke in people. If we want Indian cinema to grow, we shouldn’t overlook the potential it has to build something truly distinctive in the horror genre. This might be a controversial perspective, but I genuinely believe Indian cinema could be absolutely exceptional at horror. The mountains of Kashmir and the land itself are so peculiar and atmospheric that a writer could write a great story simply by spending enough time here and immersing themselves in the place. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be limited to horror comedies either. There could be pure horror films if the first film succeeds. There is so much folklore here that I honestly think filmmakers have barely scratched the surface.
