Vinyl wrapping/signwriting & printing, speedy upskilling tips?
At our crash repair shop, my boss is wanting to bring all sticker work inhouse which i will be running.
I have very little experience except for applying caravan stickers, company logos and frametapes which is majoraty of what we do, all of the printing has been outsourced or freehanded by me on simple things.
ANY tips are appreciated as i currently have no experience with the designing software since nothing is set up.
How demanding is any of the software to design/copy the stickers (I have extensive enough knowledge to build a pc but dont want to go too overkill if unnecessary)
I have experience with blender and photoshop so im hopeful that some things will translate. Will photoshop be useful to use with sticker software?
Are 1080p monitors adequate to replicate the stickers or is this a non issue? I feel 1440p or 4k would be beneficial no?
We will be using a 3 in one laminator/printer/cutter and
our most important work will be replicating stickers on caravans that need them replaced after being painted.
Any and all advice is appreciated, even small things you have found that improve workflow. This is a big life opportunity for me and I need to upskill and perform well as fast as possible. :)
