I figured I would share this big guy here, because I've seen a few of you share that sometimes dog toy plushies peak your interest and you purchase them just like a regular plush. I have him around the most common sized plushies I have for size reference (the My Pet Monster is the new smaller release, not the full sized original).

My hubby gave me the weirdest look when we went to PetSmart to get food for my tarantula, jumping spider, and corn snake and my eyes fell on this Kong Wild Knots plushie and as soon as I picked him up, I immediately wanted him. He does have a little bit of stuffing inside, but his "skeleton" is the toy rope knots that dogs play with and for someone who has issues with one of my hands (I may be developing a little bit of nerve or arthritis issues), the knots inside of his hands and feet fit perfectly in my palm and squeezing on it will help loosen my hand when it tenses up and aches sometimes. This big guy does have a squeaker in him, but it's up where his heart would be, so there's no chance of me accidentally squeezing it. I just really enjoy the texture of him because he's unlike any of my other plushies (though I know that's probably because he's the only plushie I have that was made for dogs). 🫣🤭

Took Eight Piece Nugget out to look at Tarantulas and then went to dinner.

After dinner we went to Target to walk around for a bit and I found this adorable little black, sparkly spider by Giggle Scape, a Target brand plushie for only $5. I thought it would be cute to share, for those who didn't get the big or mini BAB jumping spider, this would be a very cheap and super soft little guy to get to hold you until you can find the one you want. I'm working on seam ripping the mouth because the mouth is not supposed to be up there, but I understand it's probably to make it cute for children. I'm probably going to also add some plastic safety eyes instead of leaving the embroidered eyes because the fur keeps covering them up anyway.

Just had to share Eight Piece Nugget and I in our matching camo, though his camo is cooler because it's dinosaurs camouflaged in the camo. lol 😂

Also, we're celebrating adopting his new little brother, Jumper (who is shown in the last photo, so don't look if real spiders bother you).

I bought this outfit a while ago on eBay, but couldn't decide which of my BABs it would fit with and it went perfect with Whiskey's coloring and her name (I don't know if this is an actual sports team logo or not, so the W stands for her name and the fact that she's a wolf). 🥰

When I went to get the Mystical Werewolf, my store had the Mint Chocolate Chip Chococat and Strawberry Ice Cream Pochacco for BOGO $20, so with all of my $10 rewards from other previous purchases, I only paid $20.36 for all 3.

And yes, I customized the eye color of my werewolf (no offense to those who love the green... I just personally didn't like that color of green). I went for a more silver look and in the future if I decide to do another color, the silver will be easier to color over than that bright green. I used fabric markers to color in the eyes.

Since my frog, Checkers, is already pink (and is shown with her brother, Seaweed, in the last photo) so I didn't need another pink frog, so I used Rit Dyemore Synthetic Dye in Plum Berry to dye my very first BAB frog (she was the one who started my love of the frogs). She was previously in rough shape because she was dried in a dryer, but after dyeing her she feels so soft again. I don't know if it was the boiling water or the chemicals in the dye, but it did wonders for her fur.

I like putting my dyed frogs in clothes that are the color they used to be. I did the same thing with my dyed frog Seaweed, who was a Spring Green frog.

This is just my first try for a shirt for Eight Piece Nugget. I found this 6 - 9 month baby/toddler shirt at Goodwill and made 4 slits in the side big enough to fit his huge feet through easily and this is how it looks. I went for bigger because of the length and because I didn't want it to fit snug and leave lines in his fur. What do y'all think?

My hubby took me to Build-a-Bear today to try and get the bat and the only two they had left were the displays, so I got one of them and I got him with the bubblegum scent. Ozzy Osbourne was always one of my favorites, but I never got to see him in concert when he was alive. When he passed away, my hubby bought me a real bat encased in glass that's used for school. The funny thing is, the one on display that they picked to give me, was the one I saw Thursday when I was there getting my spider, so it was meant to be. 🕷️🖤🦇

I also got my puppy stuffed.

Sending all the good luck vibes I can that everyone who wants these two, will be able to get them for normal prices and not the craziness of reseller's prices. 🍀🕷️🍀🦇🍀

I got the spider and his shirt and he is super soft! I'm already in love with this guy!!! 😍🕷️🥰

He's ready for the hour drive back home now. A two hour round trip was worth it.

I found this Spring green frog at Goodwill for $1 and his fur was kinda rough, so I decided to try dyeing him. I used the Tropical Teal Rit Dyemore synthetic dye and he turned out beautiful. Even the BAB paw patch came out really nice and not splotchy at all. I don't know if it was the dye or the frog soup, but his fur is a lot softer and no longer rough like it was when I found him.

For those that ask about the fit of using baby clothes:

Checkers is wearing newborn sized clothes

Seaweed has a BAB shirt, but newborn sized shorts

I'm not sure about the brand of this huge fox, but the legs, body style, and fabric on the muzzle and paws are really similar to my Timber wolf (though my wolf is made by Wild Republic). This fox has weighted plastic beans in the limbs and belly areas. I took a picture of the tag and with me holding him just to give an idea of how HUGE he is (and I only paid $2 for him). Now he just needs a good washing and brushing and he'll be good to go. He's big enough to use as a body pillow. 🤣

Please feel free to share your axolotls and how you dress them (for those that do dress them). Just looking for ideas by seeing how y'all style them.

I got these two axolotls for $12 each (which included shipping). They were pre-owned, but still have the tags on them. I was seriously thinking about calling the pink one Chad, just because of the name written on the tag, but the mint one didn't have a name, so I decided to call them Bubbles (Mint) and Pebbles (Pink). I cannot believe I slept on these for so long, they are so soft and much cuter in person.

I'm sorry Darth Grogu is looking so rough right now, but I was too excited to share his progress so far 🫣🫪

Ugh... My paint pen started running out while I was mapping out where I want to put his Zabrak facial lines, so I'm going to have to stop until I get a new one. I hate having to look at him sloppy, but I just have to trust the process until I get another black paint pen or two to be able to sharpen up the lines and get the black darker as I layer it up. I'm not going for an exact copy of Darth Maul because I have to tailor it to Grogu's little face.

I never knew that they made plushies of the little Android guy. He's absolutely adorable and very soft.

I know I just recently saw this guy posted on here and I recognized him immediately at the thrift store. He was marked down from $3.99 to $1.99, so I snatched him up. Not bad overall, just a little dingy and a little loved on, but I'm going to wash him up and dye him and add him to my collection of BABs that can travel (I keep brand new/perfect condition/rare ones at home for obvious reasons; want to keep them that way).

Please share all your BAB dogs and I hope the person who shared theirs recently will reply so I can remember who you and your friend are.

I found the brightly colored Pastel Swirl Pawlette (I think that's what they are called) today and I knew she looked different from my first one, but I wasn't expecting THAT much of a difference. Even the face shape looks different, but I'm sure that could be down to stuffing, even though they feel stuffed the same. My original thrifted one has a more light pastel that I can only describe as what you would probably get leaving one out in the sun.

I also can't tell if the fur sewn down around the mouth on one is how they usually come, or the one I found today where the mouth is hidden is how they come (or someone could have picked out the trapped fur).

Either way, please share your Pastel Swirl Pawlette and any suggestions for twin names for the two, because I'm completely at a loss. I am open to having twin girl names or twin boy and girl names... any theme is welcome.

I missed the first friend sale, so I was happy I got to get a new friend this time, though I was scared to order from them online after all the mistakes and issues some have had on here.

I decided to test my luck and get the Bearlieve Bear (he was sold out at my local BAB store, so I had no choice but to order online). I chose Caleb because he kinda reminds me of the Teddy Ruxpin bear I had growing up. Though at least with this one I won't have to worry about him eating up cassette tapes or his mouth getting stuck open... IYKYK). 😂 I really enjoyed seeing what everyone got, so I just had to finally put my two cents in as well.

I found this HK BAB for $1 and she wasn't terribly stained, but she was grey and just looked dirty, no matter how many times I soaked and washed her (which unfortunately is the nature of light fabrics like white).

I keep seeing all the talk and excitement of Halloween releases and I just couldn't wait, so I made my own. The apricot orange dye gave a coppery finish to the pink bow, the paw patch, and the tags, which looks really cute. I was trying to get her to match the orange of the tie on the outfit I wanted to put on her, but I think she still turned out pretty cute.

How do y'all think I did for my second dye job?

Because I love this curly teddy and also because I ruined the first one I found when I started thrifting for BABs (I didn't know the heat from the boiling, when dyeing him, would pull out every one of his adorable little curls... I've started collecting each one I find out in the wild (when I find them for $1 at Goodwill).

I think it's SO cute to be able to see different personalities with the same plush. The one in the back left I just found today for $1 and he looks the most happy and inquisitive while the other one looks more reserved. I tried dyeing the one in the front the same color as my aqua sheep, but it came out the perfect green to make this little guy into a zombie (especially since I ruined his fur texture). 🫣
