Does anyone else like to collect multiple versions of the same BABs?

Because I love this curly teddy and also because I ruined the first one I found when I started thrifting for BABs (I didn't know the heat from the boiling, when dyeing him, would pull out every one of his adorable little curls... I've started collecting each one I find out in the wild (when I find them for $1 at Goodwill).

I think it's SO cute to be able to see different personalities with the same plush. The one in the back left I just found today for $1 and he looks the most happy and inquisitive while the other one looks more reserved. I tried dyeing the one in the front the same color as my aqua sheep, but it came out the perfect green to make this little guy into a zombie (especially since I ruined his fur texture). 🫣

I finally finished my aqua sheep... Introducing Summer 🌞

After crushing my fingers a month ago and getting stung by a wasp (which happened a week ago, but I had a delayed reaction and the sting site has progressed into cellulitis), I finally got around to finishing her up. This is my first BAB dye job. Now that I've finally done it, I'm ready and comfortable enough to continue with more.

Please feel free to share your lambs or customs... It will be a nice surprise to distract myself from the antibiotics and itchiness... stupid wasp. 🤕🤬

My Stitch Day delivery... I'm dying over his one top tooth sticking out and making him look adorably derpy. 🥰

A surprise ending to a horrible day... I got badly stung by a wasp while I was just out mowing the grass before it got too hot (the real feel was already 102° in the morning).

Stitch is one of my favorite alien characters (along with Grogu and ET), but I have enough of the basic colored Stitch, so for my BAB collection I wanted to add a Stitch, but I wanted him to look different from all my other ones from different brands. My birthday is in Easter, so as soon as I saw this one, I knew he was the one. I didn't expect him to arrive on Stitch Day. I love the peep shirt... It's so adorable. I got everything together for $17 on eBay (that includes shipping and taxes, so definitely not a bad deal for my dream Stitch... well the jumbo BAB Stitch would be my dream Stitch, but I ain't got the room 🫣). 🤣

OMG! I'm crying!!! I found this HUGE beautiful boy at the thrift store for only $12.99!!! 💓

No one but y'all here, will understand how extremely emotional I am to have found this guy. I could have never afforded this guy brand new. This one is in beautiful condition, though I hate that they stapled his price to his ear. I'm so extremely over the moon with this find. 🥰🧸

Mini Thrift Haul... I wasn't aware Bath & Body Works had plushies

While thrifting today, I found this adorable mini ghost bear, chicky Stitch keychain, and dog with a hoodie (at least I'm assuming he's a dog cause the tag says his name is Barker), but he kind of looked like a long eared rat to me and was only $3, which is why I originally picked him up. Looking at his tag it says made for Bath & Body Works. Anyone else here familiar with Bath & Body Works plushies?

I just finished dying my sheep and she turned out pretty adorable 🥰

Ugh 😣 Stupid autocorrect changed it to dying when it's supposed to be 'dyeing' 😱

I've been completely inspired from seeing all the custom BABs, so I've been playing around with dyeing some of the thrifted ones I find. I just finished dyeing my sheep and wanted to share because I cannot wait for her to dry so I can stuff and dress her to see the final look.

$2 Goodwill BAB haul

I was having a bad day today and my hubby took me out to dinner and then to Goodwill and I found these 2 for my collection. The fur on the pink kitty is one of the softest feeling furs I've found on a Goodwill BAB. I've never seen this highland cow before.

If any of you have either of these guys, please feel free to share.🥰 Whoever dressed this kitty like this has really great taste (unless this was the outfit it came with and I'm just a dummy). 🫪

Edited because my derpy self was so overexcited that I said longhorn instead of highland cow. 🫣🫪🫣

Eek! I found an/ BAB Okapi for $1 at Goodwill!

I'm SO happy! I was looking for one of these because I love how this one looks. BAB did a good job with this one. I wish they would make a bipedal Okapi.

Bought and fixed up this poor Gund Snoodles bear I found for $1

I found this big guy in the Goodwill $1 plush bin. He was half this size and really dirty. I thought he was a dirty tan, but he's got a more of a light auburn colored fur. I unstuffed him, scrubbed down his dirty spots, washed him, and brushed and re-stuffed him... he's way bigger than I thought once I got the new stuffing in him. I'm keeping his name Snoodles because that's an adorable name.

I'm a sucker for a patterned bear... is Pawlette's ears sewn on backwards?

I just found these two today and was SO excited to find this bear. I've never seen her before and immediately fell in love with her leaf pattern. I also found this pastel colored Pawlette, but her ear style confuses me. I'm pretty sure she's a Pawlette, but her ears are nothing like her style, and in my opinion it looks like they are sewn on backwards. If anyone has either of these cuties, please feel free to share.

Oh my goodness, who is this Bearemy and why is his noggin so BIG?

Another Goodwill find for $1. I've been wanting to get a Bearemy, but have never seen one with a head like this. I would really like to know more about this guy if anyone happens to have him. He's a really cool and unique find for me today (I put him next to my HK for head size reference).

Dollar bin finds at Goodwill. I'm SO excited for these two, especially the hamster 🐹

I wasn't expecting much when I went to Goodwill today, but when I saw these two in the $1 bins, I immediately scooped them up. These two are perfect to add to my collection! I can't wait to wash them up and cuddle them. 🥰🤗

After taking 3 hours to move BABs to change the sheets on my bed 🫣

Wow, you just don't realize how many Build-a-Bears you truly have, until you have to move them. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a labor of love; not to mention the extra time spent cuddling a few favorites.

Ps... Don't mind the giant, masked stuffed animal in the middle. That's just my favorite Call of Duty character made out of essentially a body pillow (my hubby calls König my 'other husband' as an inside joke).

Pss... And don't mind the life sized cardboard cutout of Thorin from The Hobbit, he's my favorite character (and I also have life sized versions of Thranduil and Legolas as well). I'm just an old nerd 🤓

Strange Thrift Store Find (is this even a stuffed animal)???

I'm not even sure if this would be classified as a stuffed animal, but maybe if it's not, someone can point me in the right direction.

I found this adorable little bear (at least I think it's a bear) at the Thrift Store. I kept picking it up and putting it back down, not sure if I was going to get it, but for $3.99 I took a chance because I've never seen anything like this before. The body underneath all the fur feels like some type of material that sounds like plastic, but feels like whatever it is has stuffing on the inside of it.

Any information anyone can provide me, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 🥰

This is my very first Hello Kitty BAB and I found her at Goodwill for only $1. I was surprised that her bow was still attached and her fabric was in decent condition (a little dingy looking in some spots but after unstuffing and washing multiple times and using a spot remover they are still there).

The outfit, I bought off of eBay. I found used BAB brand shirt and it said shorts, but they look more like pants on her to me than shorts.

These are the Build-a-Bears that my hubby got me for my 45th birthday back in April (my mouse was the last to arrive and arrived today). The werewolf was one of my dreamies (and I named him, Caleb, after one of my favorite LADS characters... Hence why the mouse is named Pipsqueak). I really wanted a vanilla swirl lamb, but boy are they pricey. I chose this lamb because she was very affordable and looked close enough to what I wanted and I loved the advice people gave on here about covering her up so her Sherpa fur won't bother me too much (I'm going to find a soft sweater or robe for her that I can cover her with when I cuddle with her).

Please feel free to share photos if you also own any of these BABs (I enjoy seeing how everyone else names and styles their friends).
