My 20yo son lost his girlfriend of about 3 months back in February. Horrible sudden accident. He has had a great support network at his school, and she and him were all in the same friend circles. He is down for the summer, and has made a little shrine of her pictures on our piano. He talks about her as his Girlfriend, and she comes up in conversation a bit. Wife and I want to be as supportive as we can in his grief. But we do wonder, now and when and even if we should talk about how, when, or if, it is ok to start seeing or talking to other girls. I am worried that anyone in the future will always be compared to someone in the young stages of love. I am just rambling and hoping to get more inside so I can actually be useful and helpful for my boy. I think I am more afraid to talk about things than he is.

I have no idea what I did, ripped all the networking out, plugged all the networking back in.
rebooted everyting
killed a chicken and hung the innards on the inside of the server rack
and, it started working again.
Swapped the IP address, rebooted the Pro, and... Still working

Going to get a drink and look at it while other are not trying to actually work

Hey all,
Our Firewalla was chugging along at 7am this morning, at 7:10 ish, internet stopped working. I logged into the app, sent a reboot command. The firewalla rebooted, but still no internet.
We could not ping the internal interface of the GoldPro. If we plug directly into the GoldPro (ie port 2) we can ping the internal interface, but cannot talk out.

Ok, fine, Hardware took a crap?

Unwrapped our spare gold pro, downloaded the config, plopped it in, Same

in a panic, grabbed a Gold SE, threw that in as a new device. We are connected, but not on our MSP VPN, nor any of our Wireguard Clients are connected, so... we are DOA
Help!

Additional points.
Changed the IP address of the GoldPro to a different IP, and turned off the DHCP (added the DHCP to the new Gold SE) and now I can ping the gold pro no problem

Unplugged the GOldpro from our 10G swtich, plopped it back into the 1G Unifi switch, changed IP address around, did not seem to help

Paired down my account to 9, before I was spinning up accounts per IOT or Testing so at max, I had like 20 of them active at a time. Plus Family etc.
So.. looks like upgrade default is 25% off for 6 months ($56.70 a month up from... free)
Trying to get Promo Codes, and I found some 15% that work for 3 months, and Partner2026 that SHOULD work but... doesn't

Anyone have any tips to get that monthly price down?
