The reality (or lack thereof) in Outlast S3
I love the show. Even when people are being terrible, it's fascinating. But there's one major problem in season 3:
The strongest starting resources don't give that team an advantage.
I am talking about the Bows and arrows.
Shelter is essential, so the tarps will keep you dry. Fire is essential, so the fire keeps you warm and allows cooking.
Bows are not essential, but in reality if there were three separate tribes in dispute with each other, the bow hunters could simply shoot the other tribes and steal the essentials they possess.
Wes tries bullying you away from the coconuts? Back off or welcome a new hole. Bravo refusing to trade? No problem *knocks arrows, aims at Bravo*, give me the ferro rods, nerd. Braxton and Brett being general douchebags? Straight to the firing squad.
I'd like to mention that I'm in no way condoning or encouraging any of that. Just saying that's what would happen irl.
Thank you for wasting your time reading my brain spillage. You probably all considered this already and this probably isn't an original thought. I can feel whilst writing this that the entire post is pointless and I should probably go to sleep.
