[D] Why capsules going down instead of up when Valve introduced overpriced system that people hate?

People complain about the new dynamic pricing system, holos costs fortune, so why demand and pricing not increased for old good capsules, which are the last gamba system for cheap?

Stockholm challengers went down 50% in like last 3 months

Seems not logical for me

[d] How is prolonging current Armory rotation beneficial for Valve long term?

It's almost 2 months since they annouced "last chance" for Fade and Longdog collection

It drags for so long that the prices got to a never seen before lows

I struggle to understand Valve intentions here - personally I am never buying any pass again as there is too much fatigue with the collection, Valve let's them oversupply too much.

They obviously get increased sales initially as FOMO kicked in, but are people really buying the collections now instead of waiting for a new one?

Isn't that a bad long-term decision if people lose trust and incentive for next rotation?

Isn't majority of people like me who will not buy passes anymore due to them basically killing M4 Fade, so the next "big thing" is destined to the same fate?

Reactive Corgi

Hi,

First of all sorry for my English but I am not native

I have 2 yo Corgi Pembroke, he's a lovely gentleman. He is NOT neutered. We are living in a big European city.

We have him since he was 7 months old, from reputable FCI breeder.

First 2 months were great, he loved all the dogs, we went to a dog park every day(thinking now it was a major mistake), even if other dogs were barking at him he was just wanting to play, showing 0 aggresion.

Then after 2 months, when he was 9 months, we went to the dog park again, he was alone there. One dog came, and my dog suddenly lunged at him, unprovoked by the other dog who did not care at all. This was the day everything changed.

We are fighting the problem since then. He is acting super aggresive towards dogs even from quite long distance and even if the other dogs literally do not care and don't even look in his direction. I am uploading a video of his behaviour on the youtube here :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?is=mbVGnoQaqmuycHrM&v=KEvrD5q6p1I&feature=youtu.be

Also worth noting that he is acting like this from distance to ALL dogs, but if the distance gets smaller and he realizes the other dog is female/neutered male, he is OK with them and stops acting like this.

I once was on a walk with him and we passed a Samoyed who he used to be friend with and now he hates, my dog was acting like on the video I showed, the other dog was already good 50 metres farther and out of our line of sight, he went behind a building, but then I dropped the leash by mistake and my dog RAN towards the last-known location of the Samoyed and past the building. By the time I caught up and went behind building, I arrived to them "fighting" barking at each other and "biting"(noone got really bitten but they were snapping at themselves). I mention this because I heard some people say "it's leash reactivity, try to walk without leash". Without leash I am sure he will murder someone or get murdered so it's out of the question.

We met with a behaviourist which I am not completely happy, her advice was basically to avoid other dogs(impossible living in the city and especially that I am living just next to a park) and to try to redirect his attention and not tighten the leash(he is going totally mental and is ignoring all the commands, treats and me stepping in front of him, and he is tightening the leash himself).

We also started a obedience course with more "old school" trainer, and we are seing massive improvement but only during those classes. There is like 20 dogs in a small yard, we are training walking next to each other, sitting next to each other and he is very rarely acting aggressive/defensive only to 1 or 2 dogs he hates there. But as soon as we leave the premises, it's like he forgot all he learnt and he lunges and attacks the dogs the he had no problem sitting next to each other just 3 minutes ago.

I no longer know what should I do and I feel lost. The trainer suggests choker(not sure how this collar is called but basically a super thin collar) and do super short but strong pulls on the leash, behaviorists says totally different thing.

I spoke with other Corgi owners who had same problem if maybe I should neuter and half of them told me "yes, we did and problem dissapeared immediately", the other half told me "we regret, we did and the problem is even worse"

As for my dog behaviour in home, he is a little insecure(easily gets scaried of the sound of a neighboor living above us is dropping something on the floor for example) but never shows any aggression towards us, he only barks a lot but I guess that's the sheperd in him.

When we are working(so he's alone for 8-9h), he is basically sleeping all of this time, we have a camera in our flat and he never barks on anything or playing or anything, just sleeps.

It's a long post but maybe someone had similiar experience and made it a little more manageable
