I got it bad..... Mites.

I got it bad....

I treated in August with Formic. Noticed reopened cells the other day, so I did a mite wash. I've got like 30+ mites in my wash of 300.

Need a knockdown but reluctant to use Formic again (lost a queen during the last treatment and have lost queens in past years [yes, read the directions, good temps, etc.).

I've got some Apivar 2.0 and Apiguard on hand. Was reluctant to use Apivar 2.0 because of many negative reviews, but don't know if those are under special circumstances...

Any recommendations on what I should do or a serious knockdown? Is Formic Pro the best?

Thanks!!

Thoughts on the back area?

We're torn with what to do with the back area (hearth, veranda, dining). It feels like it sticks out so much.

One option is to move the dining room between the kitchen and great room (linear) and then pull the veranda in and shorten the hearth.

I don't know if I'm overthinking it and it's fine....

Appreciate any constructive comments.

Note: the veranda is covered and the great room is 2 stories.

Keeping Baby Koi Over the Winter

I have about 40 2-3" baby koi in my outside pond (5000 gal) that were born this year. I'm in Pgh Pa so it gets pretty cold. I was going to take them inside. Can anyone recommend a good indoor setup to keep them safe until spring?

Thanks!
