What I asked for… what I got.
Never been to the salon before, and I just had a baby. Husband stayed home from work today and told me to go get my hair and nails done.
I showed the hairdresser this reference photo in regards to color, and then told her for the cut I just wanted long layers with no length taken off. I hate how brassy the high lights turned out, I hate the harsh line the hairdresser left. The “long layers” I asked for ended up starting at chin length with the longest layer landing in the middle of my shoulder blades.
Maybe it’s my fault. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough, maybe this is what long layers look like. Regardless, I’m so upset with the final result. I have super thin and fine hair and I worked really hard to get it at the length it was and as healthy as it was. Don’t want to complain to my husband who tried hard to do something nice for me.
