sayings for within the world

Okay, working on my fic and I had Sirius say "hook line and sinker." not that he couldn't know how to fish, but I really want to change it to something like "Snitch, quaffle and bludger." but is that dumb? I like that it follows the same speech pattern but I can't think of anything else that would work.

So help! He's being sarcastic in the moment talking about how Bellatrix bought into Voldemorts hate speech hook line and sinker. So if you wanna help a friend out, that'd be great. Thanks!!

Restraint while posting updates

Oh man y,all so we are getting into it on my Jegulus fic. I keep having to restrain myself from posting everything that I have written because I'd hate to get in a slump. But gods, I want to. LOL I'll have you know that this fic was never far from my thoughts during my holiday to Iceland. I was dying to get back and post an update.

I love this story so much. To be honest I really thought it was going to be a Regulus pov but along came James. Has that ever happened to you? This is why i should have waited till the story was done before posting. Meh well.

If you'd like to read what's up so far, here ya go!

When do you get invested in a WIP?

How many chapters have to be posted before you jump into a WIP? I'm not someone that jumps in with only a few chapters. But I'm posting my first Jegulus fic now and I'm up to 6 posted chapters now and was curious what the group thought.

I have loved writing this story and have quite a bit written, I'm editing and posting when I feel comfortable with the chapters. But was just curious where you jump into stories.

Jegulus as parents

I really would love to read a longer fic where Jegulus are dads, doesn’t have to be Harry, but if it is I’d prefer minimal Lily plotline.

Anyone know of some?

Stealing a star

Has anyone read this fic? Stealing a star (he stole himself)? I’m currently reading it and I gotta say, I love everyone in this except Remus. I’m curious to see other people’s thoughts on it. I feel like he’s needlessly cruel in this. I love the idea of Regulus and Remus being friends but idk, not if it makes him like this. But I’m only on chapter 13.

I will say I adore the background info tho- the star children and all of the history with James’ family. Love it!
